Kao was so secretive that most indians have no clue of his contributions. A Patriot who has no equal.

12:30 On that note, did anybody else notice that in the TV show "Agents of SHIELD", all the Indian (Hindu-named) characters are portrayed as suck-ups to the main antagonists (who make sad attempts at grabbing the spotlight by being menacing or goofy, but fail miserably)? I've watched through 3 seasons & the trend is unmistakable. I've noticed some of this in other series too ("Elementary", for example).

How does CIA counter the likes of Noam Chomsky’s narrative?
@kalapipaasi5977
@kalapipaasi5977 Жыл бұрын
One Mr Frederick Maxwell, who apparently was writing a book on Noam Chomsky, asked under the Freedom of Information Act to know if the CIA had a file on Noam Chomsky. In February 2013, Foreign Policy magazine carried an article titled "The CIA has nothing on Noam Chomsky". The same magazine carried another article in August 2013 titled "After multiple denials, CIA admits to snooping on Noam Chomsky". Probably CIA does what it needs to do, but the USA is also a free country; so, it can't be too blatant and brazen about it. How does the CIA counter Noam Chomsky? I find Noam Chomsky comic strip particularly amusing, but am not certain the CIA has anything to do with it. The comic is hilarious, though. Chomsky's pet dog, 'Predicate' is quite a character. Killer Humor.

Sir, I know this is very late to comment that you read, but I think this problem in which RAW needs to mould children in early" ,sol. Is be complimented by Agneeveer scheme by gov. As what kid is can't be moulded in age of 24-25 and that to after a discipline and clear vision guy who served and trained in Indian Army.

I think the question was missed if West is in decline ?
@lalluchettan
@lalluchettan Жыл бұрын
What stands out in this interview is the profusion of generalities. Nobody talks about specific cases. Any attempt to be specific is lost in the lazy drawl of general grouses against the West. And how great we were with explosives and how it was passed on to the Arabs. Finally, the greatness of the Marathas and the Cholas. All in all, very disappointing.
@jojobabok9373
@jojobabok9373 Жыл бұрын
This wasn't an intelligence briefing. Your expectation of specifics (top-secrets too, perhaps?) from what seems to be a mere book interview (that tend to be teasers) is what stands out here. The author pointed out the dissonance in US grandstanding over foreign nations on human rights & free speech issues, while utilizing its own media & academic machineries in tandem with its military & economic means, to further its own strategic goals (often against said issues). Although there's nothing novel in what was discussed here, it's important to legitimize (& further mobilize) a US-critical rhetoric in India (where it's not fashionable enough to the extent it needs to be, considering our future ambitions). As for the Cholas, Marathas, Ahoms, etc., it is indeed true that the approach to history education in India differs significantly (& problematically) from that of Western (& other major) nations. Celebrating out-group invaders (& diminishing the in-groups) is not very helpful to nation-building. India is way less conscious in its history writing than it needs to be - a result of colonial inertia, perhaps? So what discomforts you as "grouses" is probably the central focus of this discussion. And the "explosive" thing came up in discussing some recent article where it was falsely attributed to the Mughals (settler colonizers). All in all, you've shown very poor comprehension skill in following a casual book interview.
