Looking for something close to Long Island with decent down hill . A trail that’s all up then all down. Flowy ish. Is blue like that ? Good for beginner too lol

The only true DH trail there is orange and most of red. Red isn’t really a beginner trail, but everything has a ride around. Blue is definitely beginner friendly, but the top is a bit chunky, but nothing super crazy. Orange is a good DH intro, but can get tough. Close to Long Island this may be your best bet, but for someone more beginner oriented I’d say look into Port Jervis Watershed, but further but more single track dh. Being near LI it’s a bit tough, but Graham isn’t too bad, but Port Jervis would be my recommendation.

@@DennyJannettyMTB most stuff here is up and down up and down XC flowish or techy up and down. It’s good for conditioning but I get gassed out in the middle and can’t even Enjoy the little DH there is lol. I want to suck it up for the first half then chill then have fun the 2nd half

@@christianherrero8053 Idk how far you’re willing to go, but look into the Cromoner Hill Park and a little further, in the Catskills, Tannersville Bike Park and Elm Ridge. Elm Ridge would be perfect for what you’re looking for.

Hello, I have been going to Graham Hills a lot and was wondering how do you get to the old jumps and the free ride features

Hey pal, they’re not tough to find but they’re not labeled on the trail maps. The free ride stuff is the toughest to find. It’s on a small off shoot trail off the “blue” trail near the “emergency access” as labeled on trail forks. The old jump line is off the emergency access, too in the northeast corner off the trail network. It’s kinda hard to explain, but explore that east area off the blue trail and north of it and you’ll come across it. I usually ride down the red trail, head over to the green trail (meadow) and follow that until it meets up with the green trail. Make a right and ride a bit and you’ll see the off shoot trail on your left. That’ll take you to the trail with the free ride stuff. Continue to follow that trail, you’ll cross the emergency access. Make a left onto that, and then you’ll see a trail on your right and follow that a bit and it’ll open up to the old jump line. The old jump line as seen better days, but there’s still a couple rideable features.
