The thing with magnesium is that it needs to be balanced with potassium, and that needs to be balanced with natural b12 (avoid synthetic cyanocobalamin and opt for natural methylcobalamin, as the synthetic version often in vitamins, vitamin water, and energy drinks can cause deficiencies.) The magnesium and potassium can deplete each other and b12 and potassium can also deplete each other, so balance is key. For anyone taking multivitamins, please also balance zinc and copper and do the research on ratios. You won’t regret it. Also, definitely try to eat the vitamin C rich foods close to the iron rich foods, even within the same hour if possible, so the cells absorb the iron and don’t lock it away where it’s too late for the vitamin C to save the day on that. Some people may be more or less sensitive. Loved this video!!!! Thank you so much!!! ❤

100% - I got zinc poisoning which is almost always accompanied by a copper deficiency at the same time. Worst acute illness of my life, on new year's eve no less! You really do have to be so careful with supplements!

This videos timing could not be more perfect! I just got my IUD removed 3 days ago, as i felt it was an important step in both my health, and my current journey with God and becoming an Orthodox Christian. I have been trying to find more resources on the female menstrual cycle and a lot of them felt incomplete, or lacking practical steps, but this is perfect! (not to mention from one of my favourite content creators). God bless you ❤❤

It's crazy that this wasn't taught to in school. I'm a Kenyan and I remember learning about the way hormones change in biology class form 2( would be year 10 I think) in high school However for us, it wasn't really emphasised so no one paid attention. We would read to just cram for the exams

I've been seeing so many creators talking about this, another Christian creator I watch is McKenna Walker and she's mentioned this a few times in her vlogs. I wish I could do it because it seems helpful, but my periods are so irregular and its hard to track and figure out which stage I'm in (its been like that since I started at 11 - I am on medication though - but its more for excessive bleeding than a regularizing my cycle). Hopefully when I figure things out I can try this because I've heard the benefits of it. It might also help me organize my life a little more lol. Also, I studied psychology and one of the things we looked at was Circadian and Infradian rhythms. It's so interesting!

Red raspberry leaf tea did it for me. Along with exercising regularly and getting enough sleep. I use to have cramps that would put me in the hospital and 7-day periods, now I barely get cramps and my period is 3 days long each time🥹 I love life now. Used to be on depo and nexplanon, no bad side effects but I wanted control over my period instead of avoiding it altogether

An app cannot predict ovulation, but it can be a helpful tracking method for SURE! Also to add about ovulation that you can track your basal body temperature along with cervical mucus, as the "14 day guideline" is a generalisation and not a reliable way to track your fertile window. Thank you for helping to educate women on their cycles 🎉😊

Your period isn’t late-your ovulation is! If you’re stressed or have bad health or any of the other factors you mentioned, your body will decide it might not be safe to make a baby right now, so ovulation is delayed or doesn’t happen. Your luteal phase is fixed in length so ovulation decides when menstruation happens. It’s your body protecting you!

I thoroughly enjoy these informative videos. But I have a question regarding birth control. I’m currently breastfeeding and I understand the benefits of what you are saying but after having two back to back pregnancy how do I prevent another pregnancy without being on birth control as my cycle is irregular due to breastfeeding?
@maddsi22 күн бұрын
To anyone who wants to listen i rlly need a second opinion on this. i’ll try keep it short. i started birth control at 13 due to painful periods i had about 10 periods before starting the pill. i then skipped a ton of periods cause that’s what my mum told me to do. got off it about a year or so ago and didn’t get my period back until 10 months later. it came back painful as it would usual be but still 6 months later and getting a little bit of spotting. not sure what to do. starting taking the pill again in hopes to regulate period. Please help!!
@matilolo10 күн бұрын
Hello, how are you?🤗 I was in the same situation as you when I was a teenager and the also put me on the pill. My advice would be to not skip your periods on the pill so that your body still feels a sense of cyclicality... I came off the pill because somehow I was not feeling like myself when I was on it. I try to eat less sugar, more leafy greens and drink warm ginger tea up to the end od my period... that significantly decreases the pain! While on the pill be mindful and aware of how your body is feeling so you can report to your physician any symtoms that are making you feel bad... There are multiple pills with different doses that can accomodate different people so your physician might prescribe you a new pill if this one does not work well I hope it helps... english is not my 1st language so I hope I explained well! If you have any questions that I could answer feel free to write them! Take care🤗

@@matilolo Hey, I do think the pill is helping again. However, after the first sheet on the pill again i did not get my period but i do think i’ll get it after this second sheet. I’ve been getting discharge as normal which is a good sign. once i get my period back to a normal cycle while on the pill i plan on coming off it again and trying to stay off. Thanks for the advice, really appreciate it.

Don’t rely on app predictions if you’re avoiding pregnancy! Your cycle could randomly change by several days and the predictions won’t know until it’s too late
@JasmyneTheodora26 күн бұрын
Oh yes I totally agree you shouldn’t use apps to avoid pregnancy; just as a way to estimate where you are.
