I was born to a catholic family, which by default made me catholic. I believe as Roman Catholics we share a lot of similarities with the Orthodox Church, but there is something that stands out which is kinda making reconsidering of changing my denomination to orthodox. I’m not saying being catholic is bad, just my preference.

Jasmyne, you are a role model for me currently. After going through a separation from the father of my son, and having grown up with an extremely independent woman with the "I don't need a man telling me what to do" mentality, I feel a bit lost. As I have begun learning about feminine energy, I have also felt lost as there is so much information out there. I appreciate your clear, concise videos and the way that you explain your ideas in detail. the Rock is God, the Father, or Jesus Christ. that’s why Jesus said to Peter, you are a stone. yes, they play the language issue to make the stone as same as rock, but if you study the bible, God himself is always the Rock, and God would never set his church on a human. as it is again explained by Paul, the apostles, are on the foundation, the bed rock is Jesus then the apostles, then this and that bricks which are every true believers. So, both Orthodox and Catholic started with a wrong button. that’s why later, having arguments about icons, idols, saints, the virgin and etc, unnecessary men’s tradition debates they are still having them. The church is people, people are not reliable, so the church can not be equal with the word of God. God gave the word , the bible, so do compare what you believe and do with the bible, and stand firm on the faith. The biblical faith is simple and reasonable, men made traditions made the belief complex and unreasonable often.

Peter or apostles are on Jesus Christ so Peter do not have any superiority over other Apostles in the Church. Actually, Paul rebuked Peter for his fault, and James was the chief elder in Jerusalem church. Believe what “people” say or what the bible says. it’s your choice.

i was always terrified of birth control but i believe it has been helping me. my period was irregular i suffered from major depression during my cycle before my period and now i don’t have any of those things i just feel normal

As a non-denominational Christian living in a predominantly Orthodox Christian country, I often notice that many discussions seem more like personal opinions. It's better to share your beliefs by expressing your faith, rather than attacking other denominations-a common theme I see across a lot of denominations. In the Bible, Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul, and the second is to love our neighbor. If we approach our beliefs in this way, the Holy Spirit will guide us on the path of righteousness. Bear in mind, that you can have a plan without fully understanding what you are trying to achieve.

@@JasmyneTheodora I meant worship in the since of bowing down. That's what I struggle with being Orthodox. I understand icons can be an honor to saints etc. but the physical part of bowing to these icons including Mary just convicted me. God is a jealous God and I really feel in my heart that the only one we should bow down to is Jesus. I'm still seeking answers on my walk with the Lord. ✝️✝️🙏🙏☦️☦️

“To bow”doesn’t mean to worship. People in different cultures “bow” to each other, like in Japan, and that doesn’t mean they’re worshiping each other. It’s just a demonstration of humility.

sex is a controversial topic for a reason, its easy for modern women to virtue signal and withhold sex till marriage but they're non virgins. Thats the problem in many churches today, you get women who are "reformed" expecting men to look past their onlyfans and promiscuous past. Waiting to have sex till marriage has lost its meaning, thanks in large part to feminism, birth control & abortion. This where people who could have a lifeline to secular men go wrong.

The main thing is not religion. The main thing is accepting Jesus who is life truth and the only way to God. Unless a peton is born again , he/she never gets external life. How does one know he is saved. Short answer . Our spirit with the Sprit of God gives us witness that we are children of God and has given us authority to call God father. Nobody tells me that I am saved . My sprit tells me that.

Your period isn’t late-your ovulation is! If you’re stressed or have bad health or any of the other factors you mentioned, your body will decide it might not be safe to make a baby right now, so ovulation is delayed or doesn’t happen. Your luteal phase is fixed in length so ovulation decides when menstruation happens. It’s your body protecting you!

You mentioned, that polyester underwear isn't the best choice, but the lounge shorts you put into the description that are supposed be the substitute for the pants are literally made of 95% polyester.

Do not call anyone on earth father for you have one Father and He is in in Heaven. (Matthew 23:9) and you open your video with a quote not from the bible but from a "father Florovsky). I grew up in Orthodoxy so I am well versed. I started studying the bible and soon learned how hypocritical it has become since the Apostles passed on. Protestantism exists because someone called out the "original true church" orthodoxy and catholicism for straying from what Jesus and his disciples taught and reverting to paganism. Praying to saints and icons resembles pantheism. Jesus gave us the key to salvation and no legalism will open the way to heaven.
