Excellent video! KZbin can be such a great resource. For beginners, the problem is they’re faced with tons of videos with outrageous titles/promises (“My BEST Strategy EVER!”) and still have no idea which strategy is best for beginners with small accounts. And often, the videos are talking about strategies which are completely inappropriate for beginners with small accounts. So this type of video is particularly helpful.

Davis-another fantastic video!I binged watched all your videos 4 months ago, have been following you ever since, and finally wanted to thank you. If anyone is watching these videos for the first time I want to say that I rejected over 100 other channels before arriving at Davis’ channel. The context contained in these videos practically works which I can personally attest to: I have been able to virtually fully retire with a variation of your income grid wheel strategy. I whittled down your 22 presented strategies to the covered strangle but combined it with the income grid wheel strategy which you do mention requires a larger account size. Glad you loved it 😊 Good question - I only left that out because this list is primarily on pure Option strategies without buying shares. Covered Call has the Long share component so I left that out but otherwise it would be low risk strategy for beginners.

Hello Davis. I really love your channel. l have a question: let's say I get a Leap with a sell call (higher strike and different DTE), so a poor man's covered call. What if the the price after my covered call's expiration day ends at higher price than the strike? My broker (tastytrade) sells my leap to cover that covered call? Thanks in advance.

Any ITM options at expiration will usually be automatically assigned/exercised at expiration. But since your long call of your PMCC is of a different dte and hasn't expired, it won't be automatically exercised. Only your short call will be assigned. If you want your long call to cover the assigned short call, you will have to manually exercise it. Alternatively, just close out everything.

Hello Davis. I am a little bit confused, you mentioned not being able to do the plain vanilla put strategy if you have a small account. Instead you can do the bull put spread(small accounts). Do some brokers allow you to do spreads with less than 2k? Thanks.

What I meant is the BPR for a Long Put tends to be relatively higher than spreads. You should be able to do spreads with 2k.
