@LRH12 жыл бұрын
Sea kelp is 100%. I have been adding this in my routine for years. Used in prepoo, deep hair masks I just mix it up especially in the colder months to strengthen my strands as the cold loves to rob of its beauty.
@LRH12 жыл бұрын
@Cherl Hill -greetings. Once I prepare Irish moss, which includes rinsing (removing any debris) , soaking (usually either overnight or a minimum of 5 hrs. Deepens on the state of the moss when you begin. (PS - dried out moss can re rehydrated, just requires a longer seated time in water.)This could include removing water & refreshing the water to soak) , softening ( once the moss is fully hydrated & pliable) I will either pulse in blender or food processor or sometimes i may cook in minimum water on stove top. It all depends on my aim for that week. Once the irish moss has cooled, i will store in the refrigerator in a closed glass container. As a prepoo- I would use one or two tbsp of Irish moss with aloe (fresh or store bought) a splash of light oil no more than a tsp and apply to my strands in sections from root to tip then I sit under a cap before I wash my hair. Prepoos for me I switch up week to week. I keep a base then add what my strands need. Sometimes I the add one or more additives. Optional additives a splash of apple cider vinegar , a tbsp of clays (benoitine clay, rasshoul, white etc), hair conditioner , or an herbal powder. Irish moss is a bonus treat for my hair. Otherwise, I have added to my hair rinse or weekly spritz. Happy hair journey.
@Leah_Tewari2 жыл бұрын
@Cherl Hill Sea Kelp can be bought in powder form and mixed in with your favorite deep conditioner. Curly Proverbz has demonstrated this in a previous video. Much easier if you don’t want to deal with Irish moss. ❤

You are WAY more than hype. My hair is so happy after its first year of basic changes to my regimen. I watched too many videos not to improve. I now use both of your henna products, reintroduced Jamaican Castor oil and added your Elixir for my scalp. Your fenugreek "challenge" (my way is lazier) made me want to try peppermint oil and now my hair is acting like it loves me again. You are an AMAZING lady. My hair will be longer next year and it will be ALL YOU. The MSM is a slow addition but so far I see your advice as perfect--a little at a time. Next year I will add all the alma products. ❤️Thank you. I appreciate it.

Have been doing glosses and oiling my scalp and ends and just doing like a medium strength regimen for the last year. 😁 my hair is FLOURISHING. My friend who went to cosmetology school with me and now we're both stylists, so she does my hair and took pics of this last time she trimmed my hair. She was telling me to just keep doing good with my hair cuz it's full and healthy and beautiful 🥰🥰 thank you so much for all that you do and for teaching us the power of herbs for health and hair growth!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Wow these ingredients sound fantastic!! I am struggling with too much shedding and breakage.
@Simply_Uche2 жыл бұрын
I was dealing with this same issue for the longest of time but in the last few months I've noticed a drastic reduction of the breakage/shedding.. I'll share stuffs I did differently * I started washing every week (2 weeks at most) * I alternate deep conditioning and hair masks (majorly curly Proverbz' DIYs) every wash day * I'm low porosity so I do the LCO method but I use my diy whipped moringa butter instead of just oils. I also make sure that I apply my leave-in while my hair is still soaking wet in the shower (this method keeps my hair very moisturized for up to a week) * I kept my hair in twists as a low maintenance style * I trimmed my ends * Lastly, 2 months ago, I added MSM (with Vitamin C) to my daily routine using Curly Proverbz' advice and I'm currently taking half a teaspoon in my juice every morning. Let me tell you! My hair turned around and started behaving in the most amazing way! Maximum hydration on point! I can now rock rod sets which I couldn't do before as my hair couldn't hold the style. My hair which used to tangle up massively leading to severe breakage now stays untangled even when I wear it out. Detangling is a breeze with less and less breakage. Of course my hair is much fuller, longer, healthier, bouncier.. I'm just loving it! To think that I contemplated texturizing it 6 months ago 🤦♀️ I believe all the routines above helped in unlocking the beautiful mane I have right now

Ok so I’ve had experiences in the past with Ayurveda that made my hair grow to tailbone length( of course I later cut my hair) but this time I had an issue with thinning in the back of my head due to traction alopecia. I made a diy Ayurvedic hair oil and a tea spritz and literally in the matter of days my hair started growing back. I was so surprised that my hair would grow that fast. Big ups to you Farida because if it had not been for God allowing you to do what you me and other women would still be struggling to grow our hair.
