To tourists: please keep in mind that you are a guest on these sacred lands. Although, Hawaii is the 50th state of the US. Native Hawaiians are still fighting for sovereignty for their ppl. Please come respectfully, kind and humble. Being rude and demanding will continue to create more tension among our community. Resulting in locals and natives not being to keen to tourist. Please be free not only to check out the beauty but also come on over and educate yourself on the Kingdom of Hawaii and the respect for nature here. 🌺

Born and raised in the state. While I appreciate your patronage and support by visiting our state, keep in mind that it's all an illusion. Just like Las Vegas. Most regular people that live here are lower middle class. We are continuously working just in order to survive and obtain the necessities. We don't have a lot of time to go to the beach or do those things that visitors enjoy. Just keep this in mind when you visit. Enjoy your time here and keep what I've said in mind when you return home. Aloha!

love hawaii! ive been twice and have to agree with getting a car, even if not for your whole trip just for a day. my favorite days were spent driving around the island, watching surfers on northshore, dole plantation, and seeing all the pineapple fields with double rainbows all the way across the sky! (lol)my dad was working in pearl harbor so he had the rental during the day which forced us to explore on foot as well, it was perfect really. parking in downtown honolulu is nearly impossible my dad would just drive around the block if it was a quick stop, otherwise walk or uber! also i do NOT recommend jetskis on the north shore!! what a nightmare that was and im not afraid of much, yet i was pretty scared with waves that flippin big!

One thing you missed in your map of the Islands in the beginning of the video is Kaho‘olawe you forgot to label Kaho‘olawe . The island is a sacred place it is not inhabited due to the US military using it for target practice for bombs for several decades. They broke the water table on the island from the bombings. Even though nobody lives on the island it should still be labeled.
