Man has literally backed it with science and studies. Did you not see that the Bulgarian split squat has the same muscle activation as the back squat. Also the video is for people who have only dummbells and in addition to this without proper squat form which is hard to come by, they are not effective

The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me kzbin.infoUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.

You are literally a life saver i almost gave up working out because i did not have ego weight which is like my heavy sets that i love doing and clogging my joints for so i knew dumbells weren’t going to cut it now i know the things you are saying actually coordinates with whats going through my mind.

im using this as my lower split, its awesome. One thing I wish the video had was a little longer display of the full movement of each exercise for a few reps. Im a beginner with weights and for about half of these exercises i had to open a new tab and watch some other videos breaking down the individual exercises in more detail. And that wasnt a huge hassle, and the video was awesome and im glad i found it. But it would have been that much better if i could have seen the complete set-up and movement of each exercise for a few reps! Love the info though, will be turning to this channel in the future for more guides!

This is great. I only have an adjustable dumbbell set for my home gym. One thing I can add is get a WEIGHT VEST! you can pack on an extra 50lbs to every movement without overloading your grip. I can turn my dumbbell squats into full on 150 lb squats just by throwing on the vest. Also, i find it way easier to do split squats with the weight on my vest than balancing in my hands.

Hi! Great video re legs without squatting 400 lbs! I consider myself an intermediate lifter (I am now 60 yrs old but did train w a professional bodybuilder when I was 27-28 yrs old). I have been in and out of the gym for years. I just watched your full body workout/5 days per week and am following it somewhat.....ie. my back and biceps are my weakest bodyparts so am considering throwing in an extra set for these of 4-5 reps.......I may also train biceps/triceps on alternate days as these are smaller muscles but throw in some core work. IF I wanted to incorporate some or all of this leg workout into my 5 day full body workout/day routine, how would I do it? i.e. would i do one exercise as per this video per day or maybe 2 exercises per day as legs are big muscles? I typically warm up by walking on a treadmill w varied speed/incline for 10-12 minutes and then finish my workout w 10-12 minutes of interval training on a seated bike where I pedal steady for 1 minute/sprint for 30 seconds. Thanks for any help and keep the vids coming as they are fantastic!

The hard thing about leg workouts: When I work my arms, my arms get tired. When I work my back, my back gets tired. When I work my chest, my chest gets tired. But I feel fine. But when I work my legs, I feel tired. It wrecks ALL of me, and I DON'T feel fine. Yet I do it anyway. I start my leg workouts with a 50/50 split of air squats and hack squats with 180 pounds loaded up. Sets of 25. Currently doing 5 sets of each for a total of 250 reps. This brutalizes my legs to such an extent that I literally can't walk normally back to my car at the end of the workout but my legs are growing rapidly. It sucks but it works.
