Facts. These people can pretend for themselves and I'm sure their families and friends play along, and that's fine. I'm even a nice person so I'll play along provided I understand beforehand that the person is delusional and they want special treatment. But it is not true. A man cannot become a woman and visa-versa. We're mammals and we can't change our sex under any circumstances. This is mentally unhealthy and society can not be forced to believe in an untruth of any magnitude, let alone this one. This is ridiculous and frankly, I'm sick of it.

@@whysoseeriouss Because they don’t really want to be accepted. They actually want an argument. If you affirm them, you are taking away their reason to complain about and blame you. Then they’d actually have to start blaming themselves. Arguing them gives them the enemy they need to absolve their culpability. However that’s all playing a game in order to not play their game…so…. I don’t know the answer.

Gender dysphoria is a real mental disorder (it was defined as such in the DSM-IV) but society shouldn’t have to conform to delusions. Just because a schizophrenic thinks the FBI is following them and bugging their house doesn’t mean that it’s true. So why do we believe in people’s gender delusions?

I’d agree, this was one of the more productive, civil conversations I’ve heard. He was respectful of Charlie; didn’t resort to insults and name calling for dramatic effect. I give him props. It’s tough to get up in front of everyone as the dissenting voice and make a coherent argument. Not correct, in my opinion, but coherent. People with mental illness don’t know they have mental illness, so it’s hard to corral this madness sweeping the nation.

I addressed a school board a few months ago in Illinois about spending millions of dollars on constructing gender friendly bathrooms. I called it nonsense and EVIL. The board agreed to blow the money anyway.. However, I met one of the gender advocates after the meeting and had a friendly discussion. I told them I do not respect their IDEAS, their IDEAS are EVIL, but I bear them no personal hatred. Why would I hate them? Charlie in his discussion does the same--IDEAS and BEHAVIOR are very much up to discussion, challenge, and debate. This is NOT hate speech., it is FREE speech. I believe my schools should focus on EDUCATION and not play Chicago pleasing politics. We have PRIDE. other evil organizations, and groups in our schools that indoctrinate our children; Christians organizations are few and teachers are discouraged from exercising first amendment rights. If schools can't or won't allow Christian organizations in, then schools need to stay neutral as a minimum and focus on one thing--EDUCTATION-- the best in the world, #1 if possible.

When the person behind the mic said: "transwomen should be allowed into womens sports because it makes them more comfortable" you could had easily brought up the comfort level that the women who are competing against a biological man might feel. Why does their comfort level not matter? If none of them have a problem with it, maybe it's not a big deal. But if 1 person isn't comfortable who are you or anybody else in the right, making them uncomfortable to make somebody else comfortable?
@AB-ol5uz
@AB-ol5uz 5 ай бұрын
Yes- so there's no respect for the comfort/privacy of women changing clothes in front of men they don't know, showering in the same room, etc. let alone changing tampons/pads and dealing with other challenges unique to teen/adult women that men do not share. There is also somehow the presumption that all of these "trans" women are gay and thus, will not be aroused or otherwise a physical threat to the girls/women and that's far from correct. There is also no acknowledgment for sexual kinks like AGP that have nothing to do with having gender dysphoria and everything to do with being aroused by wearing women's clothing/being in women's spaces. Bottom line - only BIOLOGICAL women should be allowed to compete against each other and be in women's spaces (and that includes in-person spaces like dressing rooms/locker rooms and online forums for biological women's issues (breast cancer, pregnancies, fertility issues, postpartum, menopause, etc.) Ironically "trans" women have joined those forums and taken them over looking for validation/attention because they aren't lucky enough to experience those things....they have joined Lesbian dating sites and thrown a fit when gay women turn them down or report them as being inappropriate for the forum since they are biological MEN in a group of biological women that are only attracted to other biological women, etc.). It's crazy the hoops the narcissists demand that people jump through to validate all at the expense of the actual women that are seeking support in these various spaces.

The thing I've most commonly observed when speaking to people in the trans community is that they have a terrifying lack of empathy for anyone not in their community. It does not ever occur to them to consider the feelings and needs of anyone who isn't them. Like the way a small child or an animal doesn't consider anything outside of themselves. No matter how well-meaning they are, if they can't empathize, they can't compromise, and so their side is doomed to fail.

To be fair, what you are describing are the "trans-activist" community. Most of them are not even trans because they don't actually suffer from gender-dysphoria. They are usually the "you can identify as whatever you feel and change back and forth" crowd. Actual trans people are mostly horrified by what is going on as well. Actual trans people are desperate to pass as the gender they identify with because of their illness, but realize that doesn't mean they aren't still the gender they were born. If you have a chance watch some videos by Marcus, Buck or Blair. These are actual trans people who are dealing with being trans in a healthy way and are not anything like the activists cosplaying as trans.
