This is art, holy crap! You're compressing illustration, painting, storytelling, and worldbuilding into a sculpture/architecture that also takes into account & replicates the effects of time. And then you present the whole thing in edited video on top of all that.. it's one of the conceptually densest art forms I've seen, and I hope you're as proud of it as you play on TV 😄

Nice hologram effect! Paintings as billboard posters is new to me….I like it. They’d make excellent movie posters at a theatre build, as well. Don’t knock the shading you’ve already done. The build is supposed to be ancient, potentially abandoned for a time, before being repurposed without necessarily being cleaned. Cleaning a building that large would be a daunting prospect.

You know what would be fun in the radio tower if you can manage the prettystone? Setup one or two of those Redstone torches to flicker and burn out, then when the burnout ends they'll flicker again and burn out again.

The level of detail on this building is nothing short of spectacular. It's detailed to the point that it feels overstuffed at some areas, but the relatively calm areas are able to break it up just enough, and when you focus down on the base, *every single tiny nuck and cranny has something of visual fidelity to offer, it's insane!*

Honestly, I feel like Bdubs has achieved the best possible building style in minecraft. The mixture of shape, texture, shading and detail is just perfect in this game. Not too mention castle building, and steampunk/Redstone building already works really well in minercaft.

Hey, Bdubs. I love this build so much! It’s looks phenomenal! One suggestion though. Since it’s a cyberpunk build, maybe switch the hologram from green to blue? I feel like most holograms are blue, but it’s fine if you keep it green since you have that whole moss thing

i did test out a blue version and it looked pretty good...i flipped a coin at the end and went with green but might change it down the road

A little trick to solve the paintings not rendering in that I learned from a Mogswamp vid: put some blocks in the color of the painting behind it so when it’s not rendering you can still see the general colors. Great build as usual!

Your videos look so clean I wonder what's the secret is, a resource pack, recording at higher resolution maybe? Lithium, sodium, phosphorus? Optifine?? Bdubs please tell if you know! Edit: it's the lower render distance maybe, makes the distant backgrounds less busy

yes you are correct! i play at 21-23 render distance. its on par with what the other hermits play on but most people turn off fog. fog is essential to create seperation from the background. otherwise there is too much to focus on and the image looks busy as you said

I hate and love this build at the same time, a part of me wanted for Bdubs to stick with the ancient ruin type and having it ruined by the cyberpunky tech stuff makes me sad but it is so incredibly well executed that I do really love the base and OMG the hologram face is amazing. Fantastic work :)
