kind of like free demos, a feature that is all too rare in gaming (at least re: games that aren't free-to-play). I wish more games had them. There are so many games that look interesting, but in order to know if I will like it (or be able to play it at all) I have to actually PLAY IT, to feel how the gameplay feels with my own hands, because I have chronic hand pain that limits how much & what kind of button pressing I can do, in very specific & nuanced ways. And no amount of trailers or reviews or even descriptions of the controls can tell me how it will feel to my hands. And I dont want to spend $20, let alone $70, on a game that I dont know if I'll be able to handle or not.

@@darthgorbag you should EASILY be able to tell if you'd like a game by watching raw gameplay on youtube. not reviews, not opinion pieces, just watch raw unedited gameplay with no voiceover. you should be able to tell in less than a minute if it's for you or not in 99% of cases. even your lie/over exaggeration about your hand issue is made irrelevant because you can tell how every game plays from raw gameplay.

@@derpderpin1568 Having chronic ilnesses or some debilitating characteristics, traits and so on aren't things that that one can just feel trough watching in some cases. Like in the case of their hands or in cases that involves coordination. In many cases no amount of gameplay OR reviews can make one understand if the controlls or some other game's characteristics will work for them. Yes, some game controls are more obvious that won't work well for some people, like games where the player clearly has to smash the buttons a lot won't work for people that have tendonitis or some other chronical illness or condition that affects their hands and so on, but most game controlls aren't as obvious or easily seen. Some reviewers do take care to avaluate the controls but not all of them and even the ones that do evaluate controlls will always evaluate in base of their own conditions, characteristics, traits, ilness and so on and of those who they know so they can base their comparation on others that they know or even ask for their opnion directly but even so their range will ALWAYS be limited since it's mostly IMPOSSIBLE for them to cover all sorts of conditions and so on. Since there are a lot of conditions and so on and people's characteristics. Yes, gameplays and reviews may help a person to discover if a game suit them on some cases, like people that have photosensitivity may have a good evaluation of if an game works for them or not trought those kinds of videos. It's not the case for ALL ilnesses, debilitations and so on though. It varies a lot, because theres A LOT of different conditions and people's characteristics that affects how people live, game, work and so on. So please, don't discredit ANYONE on base of YOUR understanding of life were YOU aren't living THEIR life so you can't say how they live or how they can live their life, as well as they wouldn't be able to say how you should live your life. Each person is different so the best thing that we can do is respect the differences and not discredit people's experiences of life. Every person lives differently after all. Have a good day.

Oh man, Yogscast Moonquest was peak Minecraft KZbin for me. I discovered it one day about 10 years ago when I was at home sick from work all day. Binge watched the entire series and it was some of the funniest stuff I've ever watched. It's too bad Simon ended up having those mental issues, about half the guys got canceled for being creeps, and now most of the women playing games over there are OF models. What a world.

This and the gravestone add-on are the only two add-ons I use. They're the only ones I personally enjoy, and TC doesn't add INSANELY overpowered things. Sure, they have potent effects, but their materials require some work to craft. Im also pretty sure you cannot apply specific enchantments, such as un-breaking to the TC tools, balancing it out a bit. Gravestone doesn't make me feel like cheating, and it takes away those miserable moments of dying and having to race a 5-minute clock to get all your items. To some, it may seem like cheating, but I find Minecraft much more fun and just as challenging with it on. Spark's portals is another one I was about to get until I learned how to properly nether hub, and I have not looked back since, lol. Lots of the add-ons in the marketplace add tools and weapons that make you fee like you're playing a different game, and It makes me wish Bedrock had a more Java-like modding system, rather than a community marketplace system. I hope you all enjoyed reading my typing practice.

They need to make Engines for the tracks that you can ride without powered rails. And add an Iron Ingot and a Chain and you can get a train car, they lock together when they touch eachother and only separate when you break them, aka pick em up. Make the engine expensive so it is hard to get. 1 iron block, 1 Water Bucket (Do not get back bucket) 1 wood block, 1 block of coal 1 Iron ingot, 1 chain

For the chaining of carts I would use 2 hooks and a chain tap both carts and they are bound together

They need to rework vanilla ores rarity, add more ores and add armors for all the minerals gems and metals found in minecraft. They need to make ores in general rarer than before, like iron specifically and keep copper common. Exceptions for armors are obviously things like coal, redstone, lapis ect. Their literally ignoring a core piece of content to minecraft by not adding more tools and armor.

Wattles if you do a tinkers construct series can you get the payed version of the add on? That would be way better than using the lite in my opinion. Since it adds a lot more to the game. Also with the recent update on the payed version they added a drying rack to make jerky out of rotten flesh and other meats.

In the java version it keeps inventory and can use attached storage to craft. Meaning you place a chest and next to it the station and you can dump your inventory through the station into the chest to craft with it. And you place all the stations together as using the pattern chest in your line allows you to store all the patterns and access them accross your workspace. You pick which one you want to craft and a material and there you go no need to get the stencils every time

The one thing i remember about tinker contruct is that you could not make the original tools you had to make the tinkers tools instead the original tools in minecraft

No, you could still make vanilla tools, but you could also swap out parts later on iirc, which turned them into Tinkers' tools.

It's pretty much stripped from Java now too. You do get some additional gain from smelting ore, but only a few nuggets on top of the ingot by default. This can of course be changed in the configs, but who has time for that?

If you wanna play with mods, then switch to Java instead of waiting around for things that'll never come to bedrock. They already spend a lot of time keeping things up-to-date on Java, they're not about to double their workload by porting to Bedrock.

​@@Caldoric It really depends, from a certain point of view some developers might feel that focusing on addon development is worth it, the reason? with java mods they are earning the wonderful sum of 0 dollars a day, but if they manage to make a decent addon they can surely earn a lot more than 0 dollars a day.

Pretty sure there's some clause or other deep in the EULA or whatever that says Microsoft can claim all ownership of, and all profit from, anything attached to the marketplace. Sadly they still didn’t update Java version, and I’m starting to think they’re not going to, they probably decided to make people pay and play bedrock, it’s wild that beforehand that would absolutely be against the mojang’s policy, but now it’s ok. (Please note, I’m not saying that they shouldn’t get paid, just that it’s a shame that not everyone can play with this mod)

I’m having problems with this add on. I have the free version of it for the Xbox but when I use the stencil table there is nothing. There’s no different stencils it’s just blank. I can’t even make the stencil table work in creative. Does it not work because I have the free one? Do I have to buy the 2.0 version to play ?

Have you crafted any blank stencils yet? It defaults to being blank of you don't have any blank stencils in your inventory which can be crafted with 2 planks and 2 sticks

Doubtful. The way Bedrock works, code-wise, is different to Java, and there's a number of things that Java mods do that can't be reliably replicated on Bedrock's code. Also, the whole marketplace system is trash anyway and needs to die. Freakin' Microsoft and their obsession over microtransactions...

Unfortunately, tinkers' isn't what it used to be, especially since the ownership got transferred to the current folks. They barely update it anymore, and most of the old features basically have their balls cut off. Not to mention, the fact that they're selling out to Bedrock's marketplace and making it a paid addon?
