Using the regular Honda oil in My Wing. It's getting such good mileage, I have to stop about every 100 miles to let fuel out of my tank, and it's ripped the rollers off 3 dyno machines trying to measure the immense horsepower gains. True story.

I use what's available locally. Typically Rotella T4 10w40. But I've used Valvoline,Castrol,Honda gn4,,Yamalube,Mobil one. No issues with any of them.

Semantics. If you compare the formulas, you will find they are nearly identical. When Shell began to research why Rotella was becoming the PREDOMINANT oil change oil of choice, they found the formulas to be so nearly-identical to motorcycle oil (BEFORE the JASO rating), they only had to tweek it to pass JASO. This means (yes, I dare say it) "motorcycle" oil can be used in diesel engines with great success. It also means this: Why pay big bucks for "motorcycle" oil at dealers and retailers when Rotella is available at wallyworld for about $5.50 a quart?? P.S. I had a phone conversation years ago with a Shell chemical engineer. He stated, there are 176 engineers here where I work. We could all use whatever oil we want in our own vehicles, but we ALL - every one of us - use Rotella. Do you know why?? BECAUSE WE BUILT THAT OIL.

I am happy to hear that the poor defenseless little glutens won’t be slaughtered in the name of good motorcycle oil. After many years of testing motorcycle lawyers myself I have come to the conclusion that the best motorcycle oil is the cleanest motorcycle oil. Maybe you could give us a course on cleaning our oil. This is hilarious. Admittedly I'm one of those guys that have been searching around for a better oil because I just want to learn. It's all new to me. I just want to know which oil I should use for a high revving engine that wont break down super fast and runs clean. Its either race oil that cost a fortune, needs changed constantly and lacks detergents but performs amazing, or standard synthetic oil that doesn't perform and protect adequately at high stress, but runs cleaner and last longer. Does anyone know of a solid middle ground. Needs something that will perform consistently at 10-16k rpms, but isnt gonna make a wet clutch slip, keeps the engine clean, and doesn't need changed every couple hundred miles?

I do believe in the HONDA plain 10-30 no magic oil for years now. Sometimes simple is better then fancy shmency. Never ever even one issue in 30 years riding and I had used it on all types of bikes. Nothing will change my mind.

@@Traxxion I think there's just a majority of salty Royal Purple fan boys that seriously think their oil really is THAT superior to some Amazon basics stuff. Not just Royal Purple but anyone who thinks the oil type will make a drastic difference to economy or power really. Funnily enough Amazon basics is actually pretty good stuff according to Project Farm tests (independent youtuber who tests these kind of things). I found your video also by looking for the best kind of oil for my bike, but went with cheap stuff and decided I'll do 3 oil changes with the cheaper stuff for every 2 oil changes I would otherwise have done with synthetic (3/2 the price). 🤷 My first option was your concoction but I didn't have all those ingredients handy.

I’ve always found that the higher the Bullshit levels of the oil, the more Coliforms around the moving parts actually creating excessive gasses in the crankcase,which in time must pass through the exhaust causing fowl smelling fumes.
