Yes it is, but as good as it looks, I probably would not spend the extra for the performance pack and bronze unless your planning for track days.

I have a 2024 GT Premium loaded with everything, including mag ride. The car costs more than a base darkhorse and is basically a darkhorse premium. The only real difference is the darkhorse gets the tremmec, 305/315 wheels instead of 255/275, and GT 500 rods, which only matter if you want to go to 1000 horsepower. I saved 10k and with that I get the Gen 6 stage 1 whipple that, when I install it, will get me over 800 bhp. Yes, I would love the have the tremmec, but the MT82 has been good and I love the no-lift shift. I will need to upgrade that clutch and it should be fine. and I would advise anyone who really wants the tremmec over the MT82 manual to just get a gently used Mach 1 and not spring for the darkhorse unless you absolutely can't be talked out of it.

I've got a dark horse, vaper blue metallic,6 speed with recaros,non handling pack car,was only 66,510 I think that's the route you should have taken, better resale value if you ever wanted to sell.

@@davedave2882I couldn't find a MT Darkhorse that wasn't way overpriced, so I decided to start with a GT but it's not a GT anymore. Ive alreqdy done lowering springs, camber plates, x pipe, headers, McLeod RST twin disk clutch and aluminum flywheel, DSS aluminum driveshaft, mishimoto expoansion tank, and stage 2 Whipple on the way. Thats just in the first 3 months of ownership. By the time I'm done the car will basically be a GT 500.

I've found you can't get the Recaro seats unless you get the premium package. I love the white Recaros!

Hard to stomach 60k+ for a Mustang GT. I remember when the GT500’s hit the showrooms in the 40’s and 50’s. Hell the 2013-2014 were starting at 60k. I get this one is optioned out relative to the base premium. Just crazy. I had bought a 2012 GT premium with an MSRP of 36k with 4k off MSRP. Brand new in 2012. I suppose if this is your only car, it’s multipurpose. DD and have some fun. Personally, rather have some cheap Daily Driver and a GT350 or PP2 Mustang for the weekends and still be under.

Me personally, I would leave off the performance pack, magna ride, Recaro seats and just add the exhaust.

I think for that money I’d buy an M2 with a manual. I’ve already owned a 2019 Bullitt and inching the M2,has better chassis and overall better build quality. Plus the M2 will hold value better a GT Premium, even with more options. It ain’t a BMW M car!

curious as to how many miles are on this car? I am getting ready to pull the plug on either a GT w/performance package or an entry level dark horse. Have been wondering how much water/dirt gets in through the heat "duct" on the hood.

It is the GT Premium, but that is a trim not a package. I don't list the differences between trim lines. Some vehicles have multiple trim lines and would be a very long video.

I would probably choose not to add the performance package but definitely the 10-Speed. Quicker and More Efficient.

What part of the US are you in. I have found multiple dealerships around my area that have dark horse not marked up surprisingly. But don't worry, they're making it up on the financing side of things LOL

@@backnu yea I’m asking about the s650 pp weight. I just saw a recently uploaded video of a s650 pp premium weighing in 3960lbs which is significantly heavier than s550 same spec.
