This is a dream I've been nurturing since 2015, and now, it's finally coming to life. Our adventure begins early in the morning as we set out for Ophir Pass, a high-altitude gem hidden within the San Juan Mountains. This is a trail that has taunted my imagination for years, and the anticipation is palpable as we approach the trailhead. The rugged terrain and the sheer grandeur of the mountains surrounding us create an instant sense of wonder.
Ophir Pass, with its challenging switchbacks and steep ascents, is not for the faint of heart. The adrenaline rush as we navigate through rocky obstacles and navigate the tight turns is exhilarating.
