Finally a 32" 4K OLED...at 60Hz. Sigh. Plus it's 3500+ There's always that one thing about every monitor, every panel etc that ruins it all: LG 4K OLED under 1000€? Hell yes - wait but it's 42"+ and is glossy with WRGB subpixels. Alienware 34" QD-OLED for 1300€? Hell yes - wait but it's 1440p, has no polarizer and has triangle RGB subpixel layout. Plus it's curved ultrawide. Samsung 32" 4K 240Hz VA with 1200 MiniLED zones under 1500€? Hell yes - wait but it has quality control issues and it's not an OLED. Plus it has 1000R curve. Way to always ruin your products monitor/TV manufacturers. Is it really so hard to create a 4K 32" 120Hz+ OLED screen that costs less than 1500€ and is flat, matte and with standard RGB subpixel layout? Also given the year we live in it should come with HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 2.0 because using HDMI 2.0 is an insult at that price.

LG is your best bet, they're the ones that ACTUALLY make OLED panels and they had tons of news saying they were shrinking them down, don't buy from anyone else. The C1 and that family is the best thing for now but not as a monitor, as a pretty much secondary display when you're gaming, get another monitor for your main thing, some IPS e-sports one if you're playing something competitive, and when you're watching movies/playing singleplayer you switch to that I know this EXACT FUCKIN FEELING of always something missing, literally can't find a Computer Case that has all USB 3.0 in the front panel AND space for a lot of HDD, they're still using the 2.0 for some fuckin useless reason and they're like 350 €+, why would i switch my HAF X what's the point, just give me a fkin case with 4 3.0 USB one TYPE C AND SPACE FOR HDD IS IT THAT HARD TO ASK always this shit they always fuk something up

@@whiskizyo2067 Well, it's the kind of monitor I would like for gaming. A 32" 4K Oled monitor. It is the kind of monitor that a lot of people have been waiting for gaming. Even if it only reaches 60hz, it's perfectly ok for many. I don't want VA, I don't need 240Hz, I don't want 24" to 27", I don't want 1440p. This has the perfect characteristics to play and watch movies on your desktop. So, I agree with the original comment: There's always that one thing about every monitor that ruins it all.

Yes it is very very very hard to make a 32 inch 120 Hz + Oled Panel why you might ask Answer is that there are two types of RGB oled manufacturing techniques One is Evaporation Method and other one is Inkjet Printing Method The problem with oled evaporation method is that it requires vaccum environment and very expensive manufacturing equipment here comes an amazing solution to this problem which is inkjet printing , Inkjet printing doesnt reuire vaccum conditions and very expensive equipment its like a maseeha solution to all display enthusiasts but but but Current Inkjet Technology (in 2022 ) is very primitive and suffers from very very bad yield rate so much that they are almost out of stock 95 % of the time and guess what the company making this 32 inch RGB OLED Panel which is JOLED can go bankrupt says OLED info if they dont improve their operations , so forget about 32 inch RGB OLED Panel 120 hz + how the hell they can launch even a 60 hz panel under 1000 euros ?? also middle sized oled that is 17 to 36 inch diagonal 16:9 aspect ratio is very difficult to produce either RGB OLED Route our WRGB OLED Route

ProArt continues to provide quality models at all price points. I am quite happy with mine although one of the cheaper models. Latency and responsiveness could be better but there are unfortunately always trade-offs in the monitor space. Another great review by Techtesters, appreciate the perspective and detailed testing results with analysis. Good monitor reviews are hard to find.

Excellent review, as usual. I actually don't mind the thicker bezels on the monitor. As thin as they've gotten on the gaming monitors I'm nervous any time I need to move mine as it feels like I'm putting more pressure than I'd like on the actual panel. Having a little bulk around it provides more peace-of-mind even if it's largely unfounded.

Thanks again for another EXCELLENT monitor review (and by the way, I love your ceramic cacti). I'm definitely enthusiastic about the superb picture quality of this RGB-OLED display, but I'll be quick to add that I'm a little less enthusiastic about the $3,500 price tag. Perhaps what intrigues me most is your mention that this RGB-OLED panel is manufactured by JOLED, which is a joint venture between Sony and Panasonic. The JOLED website states they make OLED panels from 10" to 32", but I am not aware of any monitors being sold by either Sony or Panasonic that use these JOLED panels (much less any TVs using JOLED panels that are 55" and larger). So, Panasonic and Sony, why aren't you utilizing your own JOLED panels? I'm curious about that!

Thank you very much for another Thorough review. The monitor looks very nice. But, I don't think I can get past the 60hz refresh. Why, Why ASUS is it so low. I would think a majority of Video editors are editing 4k usually @120 HZ with slo-mo of 240HZ down to 60HZ for special effects etc. But we NEED to review / edit at the native speed of our source materials & then compile / export to whatever freq we want. This monitor seems to prevent that. I would be curious if you used the monitor in any work environment to see how it responded to Video editing. Plz update if you did & what the results were. Thank you again for ALL your info presented.

I'm not impressed. Removing the W subpixel is a good thing ... but only if it solves the brightness problem in other way, which it doesn't. And this monitor also adds a new problem that OLED monitors didn't have, because such a high latency is not only a problem for gamers but also for drawing with the pen tablet. So this monitor is not for "Content creators", it is for "Content creators who don't need to create HDR images (or watch HDR content), don't need to create drawings and do not like to play games". Not many.

😅for an oled to have a cheap cost , a 22 to 32 inch size , 120 hz plus refresh rate , low input lag other perks etc wait for at least 10 years from now hopefully in 2032 you will get to see such amazing monitors which is not at all possible in 2022😁

@@adityaarayan2340 Who asked for a cheap cost? , not me, I know a high end monitor will always be expensive (by definition). But at this high price I can not accept a so ridicously bad latency, because latency is just a question to include a faster micro procesador as other high end OLEDs have. Making it "for creators" can't be a excuse to cut costs on this particular area, specially at this price.

Is the power supply on this USB-C? As in, can you plug it into a suitably powerful DC power supply (for example in a campervan)? I know there was an Asus display that offered this option, but it is nigh on impossible to search for because of there being so many monitors with USB-C power *delivery* (which while also needed, is not the key thing I am looking for). Being able to power this directly from a DC battery system with solar power etc, would allow for a much more efficient (energy-wise and for cable management!) setup for nomadic or offered photographers/videographers etc. Whilst many of us have inverters for an AC power supply like in a house - they consume power to run & we have limited amounts, so we often only switch them on for a short time when needed to run an induction hob for example.

This seems to be exactly what i'm after as I'm wanting the rich blacks the oled monitor offers for fantastic movies but I also play fps a couple of nights per week. That response time is terrible. I would really like to see how it effects playing R6 Siege. My current 4K, 31.5 inch LG with the awesome monitor stand runs at 120Htz which is good and works well enough for gaming but the blacks are very much dark grey and comparing it with my LG 65inch G1 OLED TV which has perfect, rich blacks, my PC monitor looks very poor. I don't know what to do.

I recently purchased this monitor and I am very impressed. But I do have a question, I was checking out the user profiles (Just to test the calibration on them) and I am noticing what looks like color banding/artifacts on them, both of them actually no matter how I calibrate it. None of the other profiles have this issue, and I've already done a calibration on the rec 709 profile which pre and post cal looks great and has no artifacts. Curious about what you think should be done, though I admit I'll basically never be using them anyway, just don't know how to feel about it.

@Techtesters - can you recommend monitor for mostly document use? I need to point out, that I am spoiled with OLED 16.2" 3160x2400 Asus ProArt laptop with such screen, but more so with iMAC 27" 5K screen which is sharp AF. In general, what I am looking for is 400nits or 500 minimum, glossy (semi-glossy)... and sharp. If 5K 24" would exist - I would go for it - I will not go for OLED on 27" or 32" due to backlight change and more due to 'pixel distance' that blurs text. I am dead serious - I am using my PC, and Mac and work laptop, 12h per day and computers since 1999, I need near perfect screen as I read, analyse, compose and produce text docs. Can anybody help?

Not sure which model I'd pick exactly. OLED is great but isn't perfect, sounds to me like you'd be best off with a really high-end, high-DPI IPS panel, but then those won't be glossy or semi glossy. Mac panels might work, some high-end dells are really nice (but again, no gloss afaik). Might be best to just go out and see a few.

Then we talk about the test results, and confirm/debunk their claims. “It was made for people that are after that perfect HDR” “let’s see if that’s correct”. It’s not misleading in any way. My concerns and thoughts about the HDR are described in detail later in the video that you can easily skip to by clicking on the HDR chapter. But skipping everything and writing an angry comment instead, after misunderstanding the concept of an intro, is just lazy and unacceptable. And I will stay away from your comments. Do better. Lol.
