Thanks, Danny. I will be purchasing one of your Antenna's when the weather breaks. Too dang cold and snowy to install today. MAYBE around April or May. Looking foward to it. I am using an old Radio Shack antenna that I purchased about 8 or 10 years ago.

October 23, 2019. Today I installed the Ultimate Antenna from Danny Hodges. I put it up with a new Channel Master rotor. I had a QFX antenna which the rotor died on within 6 months and the reception was fair. Now I get more channels and can pick up channels from 40+ miles out on the back side of the antenna. Front side pick up for a good 60 miles. Thank you Danny!

Just got mine in. Followed all the instructions and recommended RCA Amp... After installing it an doing a scan.... Wait for it... I'm only pulling it 18 channels, compared to my previous antenna from best buy that pulled in 31 channels... It is what it is, a quality built product, but I didn't have much luck with the channels.. It's 8 foot above the peak of my house on a pole.

I could use a 360 antenna here. See I live in middle of a place called the Triad (NC), which means what it says. Three "big" city's in a triangle type layout. With stations in all directions. Because it was the simplest to make, today I whipped up one of those "Stealth Hawk" Antennas from your 2017 video on your Danny S Hodges channel. I used some a that bare aluminum wire like used for grounding, and it seem to work fine screwed to an old plank and mounted to my chimney (with no reflector because of needing 360). Can't wait to see how it dose compared to copper. But I think I need to do a 2 or 3 antenna setup to get everything with in 70 miles or so.... or a 360 antenna. I'm wondering if two Ultimate Antenna's would work sharing the same reflector. You know, facing opposite directions with a single reflector between them. btw, if you haven't heard of sketchup, you should give it a look. I've got your Ultimate antenna drawn up in it, and it's great for experimenting with different ideas and such. As always, thanks for all the videos..

Wow i was just out in the garage fixing an old arcade machine and clicked on your video. I watched the whole video then this one and got me thinking. I picked up a antenna off of Facebook. I like modify things. And once you started talking about solder things. I hit to think well i have a soldering iron lol. Think ill pull it off yhe roof and see what happens. I get a ton of channels now but UHF is weak. Luv your videos i like and subscribe for sure. Heck i stream Arcade games on twitch. I'll plug your KZbin for sure. That other guy should be ashamed of himself. Great video great info thank you.

I adjusted mine for a little more VHF with slightly longer elements and spacing. We have four VHFs here, two low power and two full power. All but the weakest come in without a booster. It breaks up without one.

What do we do if we are in the NorthEast Georgia mountains? Zip code 30545 Hiawassee? On the border of North Carolina and Tennessee? Any customers say this works? No one around here can get sh!t..... and the government tv website says signal sucks as well. When I was a kid, we had an antennae on a power pole and barely for 2 and 5 from atlanta and pbs was pure snow with sound.

Danny if you need a good laugh i also watch the antenna man videos on here. a lot of you and his comments line up. but a guy sent him a message and told him he wasn't much of a antenna man if he didnt have this gauge and that meter lol the guy posted the comment. wonder if he realizes most of us here is not trying to corner up the antenna market...we just trying to get the most bang out of our buck. buy all that stuff he talks about you may as well get cable. i will see if i can find his message.

How does this antenna perform on vhf low Philly & NYC both use some channels on vhf low I would like to use it there in NJ Tom Rivers area

I wouldn't count on any VHF low signals coming in unless you are close to the towers.

You would need a log periodic or yagi to get low VHS. It is possible to build a Gray Hoverman or hourglass antenna for this but none are available for purchase.
