The cherry bombs do not stun the zombies. Believe me, if you want a row defended with a single plant, the ideal plant is the garlic carnivore. If you leave a cherry carnivore there will come a point where the zombies will eat it. On the other hand, the garlic carnivore will last longer because it stuns them and if they bite it, it acts like garlic.

@Lastbred the catch is to upgrade ultimate sun-wallnut, let zombies eat it but not kill it, and use fertiliser on it, to farm sun. You should get at least 10k sun by this before the first obsidian gargantuar shows up. For what I know, 20 taps on the ultimate sun-wallnut can kill the obsidian gargantuar.
