Scouting in FM24 is soooo broken at least in my game, I can't find a single decent player in Brazil or Argentina for example, using scouts 19/20 stats from Brazil/Spain/Argentina; 5 grey stars actual/3 yellow potential; age 15 to 22; tried scouting countries, continent, scouting for months, nothing. The only way for me to get some wonderkids is waiting for the 50 NxGn list and buy them from there, and sometimes scouting the players from the national U-21 teams.

that moneyball filter is amazing, i use it to filter every player under 18 player who play in certain good leagues that played more than 500 mins (Serie A ect). ive put around 50 leagues and found so many wonderkids from Serbia, Croatia Nigera and especialy in the 2nd division of Brazil. I can also adjust the transfer intrest to not intrested and found a 16yr old from Florentina who played 20 games in Serie A which ill have to wait until he is 17-18.

I am playing a Japan lower league club with limited scounting budget, and I don't use scouts and have no scout at the club. My method to find player is to offer trials for all players that are interested in joining my club to unlock the hidden attributes and potential of those players for free.

@@sangwoo8651 as far as i know It isn't better, but in the long run it would probably give you more results (specially If your scouts have good adaptability) because it will help your scouts build even more knowledge

Exactly what Diego said! Not necessarily better but might find players quicker that way (you would need ALOT of scouts)

Great vid but I have tried these along with a lot of other styles and never hardly get any results especially wonderkid scouting. And yes, I have scouts with knowledge of the countries they are scouting, world scouting range and top scouts. Since FM22 scouting just doesn't seem to work. E.g I have excellent scouts with extensive knowledge in South America and only get maybe 4 c or d rated players at best and most often none. I have tried country scouting individual nations, region scouting and continent scouting.

Maybe try lowering the scout stars? Sometimes you can find great players at lower stars still!
