I love protecting my teammates who use chargers with a splash wall of mine. It's even better if i throw it out at the last minute before they get splatted, and my teammate gives me a booyah! I find it fun to protect people and then, if possible, friend request them afterwards :D

I also do this sometimes but only if I really have nothing better to do Like if I don’t want to fight somebody, already have good map control, don’t have an objective to do, and have enough ink then sure but otherwise nah it’s just not worth it But when it does randomly save that charger it is extremely hype

I often use the wall to protect teammates jumping in by placing it in front of their arrow. You can also use it to escape on flat ground and it combines well with quick jump. Its also fun rebounding it off walls to land on tower while riding tower, and landing it on tower while enemy is on tower

I forgot to mention. In case you didn't know, only in Splatoon Wii U, the Splash Wall cannot be spawned again until all of the ink tank is gone, or gets destroyed by an opponent.

I miss Splash Wall on RBPD! 😭 Also, IMO, Splash Wall (and any other barriers like brella shields, and Big Bubbler) should nullify enemy ink explosions, not detonate them instantly.

@Sanngot it all depends on positioning. Both players have to be aware of what's going on. Technically, every weapon can be a liability with bad positioning but I know that's not what you were asking.
