Got into Streets 1 time this wipe and had the worst connection ever. Desync'd my way stuttering at around 10 fps into a landmine. They spent too many bits of data trying to make it look neat instead of making it playable. Every map this wipe has Extreme lag spikes and many many stutters where I will aim at something and shoot, lag for a second, then a shot registers. Constant packet loss notifications and disconnects as well. This happens on Shoreline even. Getting to the point where Im frustrated just trying to get into a game, let alone play it.

@@MrKingglenn Admittedly I think the map looks neat and for those who can run it, the thing certainly seems like an awesome playground of pvp, but I do wish they made it easier to run somehow rather than waiting for their playerbase to shill out thousands of dollars on the latest components for a computer

I was wondering since you are expressing how important the spawns are, could you start a series about each map's spawns ? Would love to have an indepth veiw of how this works. If anyone has read the books by the way the hotel above the Terragroup building is where Dennis/The Predator lived he worked for Terragroup and was a secret hacker working as a mole. The mall is the same mall that he fought the cultists in. I really hope they add Dennis as a boss because his story really made him the most badass character in all of Tarkov lore.

I would LOVE to have you do this for some of the previously-added maps like Lighthouse and Interchange. I started playing in 2017 but never quite learned those maps for some reason, meaning I'm scared of them despite knowing they should be great maps.

I want left shoulder shooting so badly. I always shift my angle and love taking left peeks when it feels like it makes sense or will throw someone off. It just never makes sense in Tarkov and really annoys me. I wanna left peek. Left lean feels pointless...

great video! i wasn't really playing streets much, learned the map a bit by scav runs as well as offline raids, but sometimes takes a while to get where exactly you are, especially if you spawn in some building. but i like the map, i think they indeed did a good job with all the extracts (some spawns are not very fun though)

Learning spawns is the biggest thing in Tarkov period. As a 5500 hour no life I also recommend you. If you’re new, know ur spawn and potential of close spawns ;)

Nice overview! I haven't really had any time to play Tarkov this wipe, but hoping to get some hours in during mid-October. I'll have to play some Streets this time! Played around with it on offline at the beginning of last wipe, but never really got around to playing live raids on it (the early rubberbanding issues scared me off, and late wipe it just seemed like a sweaty place, and most of my low-level quests were on other maps).

Little tip for scaving on streets: Learn where the 1 use keys spawn like sky bridge apartment and the hideout key, not so much bloody key right now as every one is always checking for it. Those other two keys are usually left behind and can be worth a quick check to see if there's any decent valuable spawns. Skybridge is so-so, sometimes it's just empty, hideout is pretty rare on having a valuable spawn but i do find lions in there every now and then, always worth checking since it's right next to an extract.

100% true. I always check these. The archive building is almost never looted too. Find tons of intels, kappa items, etc. Best Sky bridge key I got was a lion, a roller and a GPU in the computer. Always worth checking.

thanks for the guide bro. Ive played since the very beginning, day 1. #ALPHAARMBANDGANG. Anyway... a key point you've made, with having extreme map knowledge is definitely key. Im a woods and shoreline main (very little streets playtime.) and without a doubt the thousands of hours I have on those maps allows me to generally get the drop on unsuspecting players more often than not. I've been taking that approach with the newer maps and learning the spawns and routes. It would be dirty if there was a hotzone map showing most used routes of PMCs on each map.

Concordia security does have a lot of attachments in it, I’ve found suppressors out the wazoo there. Edit: TG armoury key is also good for weapons, you can find M4’s here and other weapon loot, plus a Pc block.

My only streets gripe is that player scavs spawn WAY too soon and in far too great a number. It makes being a PMC quite frustrating if you dont leave in under ~10 min or else a ton of player scavs will have already swarmed all the good loot locations and will camp outside your building/location if they discover you are a PMC. They have nothing to lose and are in greater numbers so it feels really unbalanced sometimes. Im just glad that there are so many extracts so that extract camping is not very common or profitable for people to do on streets.

Anyone have ideas for better performance on streets? i have a 11600k 32gb ram and a 3080 ftw3 on a gen 4 speed samsung pro ssd. running 1440p Constantly need to press escape to fix memory leaks, ADS causes a half second freeze half the time. I think Streets really missing a lane on the west border of the map that connects Kamchatskaya st,. Chekannaya st and goes behind Collapsed Crane toward Crash site. Because if you want to move between NW and SW parts of the map you have to either go to construction site or Sparja and either of those places are easy to camp, loaded with SCAVs and, as Jesse said, are near the most visited places on the Streets.

That's not a bug, it's a feature. If it's made any easier, they'd have to nerf the loot - it makes the risk/reward balance for Chek 13 and 15 more appropriate than they would be methinks

@@madzaisa if I don't need it I see 3 options, 1 - push low below check 15 window between 13-15, cross to coffee shop, sit for a sec -> push along wall between construction and sparja or through construction if you're feeling risky > underground at the tennis court hut > cross underground to the ramp and extract crash site 2 - Through check 15 back through hole in wall, not pushing deep into check 15, crossing to sparja after checking the cross from the check 15 lexos view bathroom 3 - through Lexos, hotbed

if you have enough loot to leave how would you not have enough loot xp to get to the 200 or so you need? Unless you find like a single hideout upgrade item or sth and want to leave with that, just open a couple more bags or filing cabinets or touch 1-2 dead bodies

hey jesse, constructively, i think this video fell short. this video is too short to encompass all of streets. i would suggest a longer form video, maybe an hour and a half to 2 hours, or make this an intro to a series of 30 minute videos where you get down into the nitty gritty of all aspects you mentioned, pvp, keys, looting, and what not
