THE ULTIMATE SUCCESS FORMULA
(L. Michael Hall, PhD
Ask anyone, “What do you want?” and whatever they say, they want to succeed. They want to accomplish and achieve whatever content they mention. We all do. Wanting to succeed at life, at being our best selves, at achieving the things we consider important and significant-we call that drive, the drive to self-actualize (make real) your best self and life.
Question: Are you a success? If you died today, would people think that you’ve lived a successful life? What is success for you? Are you crystal clear about it?
The idea of success suggests two questions which are crucial if you are to succeed:
1st What do you want to succeed at? Whatever you choose, is it attainable, realistic, healthy, ecological, etc.?
2nd How do you effectively succeed at reaching it? What methods, processes, and techniques are you using to achieve it and are they working?
As the International Society of Neuro-Semantics (ISNS) we are starting the new year of 2024 with a quick course- The Ultimate Success Formula. This will be our theme for the next ISNS WISDOMS on January 13. And as with all WISDOMS, because we are committed to closing the knowing-doing gap so that you can immediately apply and integrate the ideas and insights into your life, there will be some integration questions to consider at the end.
Now here’s the problem- the literature on success is as broad as it is superficial. Most people think success is fame, wealth, and power. But there’s a problem with that- many famous people who are wealthy beyond imagination and powerful in their field are unhappy and unfulfilled. Some are miserable; some commit suicide. Whooo! Something is wrong with that picture. But what? And how do we correct it? Find out on January 13, 2024.
