wohooo... really appreciate that amount of work you put in that App and all the work which comes along. I Love to join your App and i would prefer to pay a lower Yearly(monthly) fee for the maintenance of the App e.g. 1$/month and the opportunity to buy the single Games or bundles which i need/ want. Otherwise i pay for 190 games which i don't have/ play... and other that i need are maybe not yet included. Just another input for you to think about it. best Chris

This looks great, definitely subscribing. However, the "My Games" feature will only be useful if I can link it to my BGG collection. There's no way I'm going to build a new inventory of my games just for this app.

Definitely a possible feature for the future, but it would have to recognise which ones are covered by the app - in any case, new features will come if I can get a groundswell of support to fund them! Hopefully, flipping through the games and adding them to your library won't take much time - I won't have covered every game in your collection, as much as I'd like to! It's on the Apple Store, and it's ready for Google Play (I just have to get through some Google bureaucracy that's taking longer than I expected to get it on the that store).

How easy is it to add a new game? Just wondering how many more you'll be able to add from your extensive collection. Follow-up: if it's easy, would you consider a future update to allow users to add their own rules in to the app? 1. Allows for maintenance of house rules. 2. Allows for adding games you haven't done rules for. Can't wait for this to hit Android!

Nothing is easy in app development, I've discovered! A large part of the expense was in developing a system that imports the data from an appropriate format. Since the whole point of the app is to provide carefully crafted rules summaries, what you suggest would require an absolutely insane amount of infrastructure, proofing, a whole new import system - the time and expense involved boggles my mind, knowing what I now know.

@@EsotericOrderGamers all good. I did software development for 15 years and have spent the last 15 doing marketing for game development, so I know exactly how hard it can be. What you've described does indeed indicate it would be difficult. One alternative solution if I may? What about a notes field for each game. That would accommodate for house rules, at least.

I wanted one of each type of game, and Firefight was perfect for a tabletop miniatures game (I can't do Games Workshop games for obvious reasons). My iPad is an iPad Air, relatively recent (I forget the model but a few years back).

It looks like a great app unfortunately the price seems too high for me to justify it. I understand the difficulty in pricing app subscriptions and it is probably great value for some, and maybe at an earlier life stage when I was playing a lot more games I would have thought it value too. But for now looking at how much I would use it and what I get from other subscriptions that are similar prices I feel this is just too expensive.

I don't recall the incident of course (I've had many thousands of comments), but I'm very happy to discuss this further and resolve whatever was said. I do my very best not to be unreasonable to anyone, and have blocked very few people, so I'm surprised, but I'm sure we can sort it out if you're still open to doing so. Then again it's also possible you said something you thought was reasonable and I found offensive at the time and I didn't want to read stuff like that on my feed - we all make choices we think are best at the time! 🤣
