Having a "Top & Tilt" kit is invaluable! I cannot imagine ordering a utility tractor without it. It makes fine grading 100x easier and more accurate. It also makes hooking up implements faster and simpler. Don't leave the dealer without a Top & Tilt Kit on your tractor!!!

Love the top 'n tilt on my 4060LE. I also have the 3d set of rear remotes and hydraulic scarifiers on my box blade. It's even a little useful for adjusting the tilt of my tiller and snowblower. Best of all, it makes attaching implements easy. The only (minor) downside is that rear remotes relax when the tractor is off, so the implement has to be adjusted each time you use it.

The top link cylinder itself is worth every penny, especially if you're using a quick hitch. The time and aggravation of climbing in and out of the cab, dinking with the turnbuckle (sometimes several times) is a big p.i.t.a.. This is compounded once you get to the bigger compact tractors on up. The implements are extremely heavy and a lot of the times, you can't adjust them unless they're resting on the ground. Even if the implement is rated for a quick hitch, the angle front to back between the top and bottom pins can differ greatly. With the hydraulic version, you simply back up to the implement, adjust the top link for the correct angle and pick it up, while in the seat. The side tilt I will agree that it's not as utilized by non-commercial operators. Make sure to get cylinders with check valves built into them so they don't fade on you. A less expensive option to gain more SCVs is a hydraulic multiplier fro companies such as Summit Hydraulics. Or you can get a multi-circuit manifold valve with power beyond to add multiple discreet SCVs for a lot less than factory options.

We added the 3rd function OEM as well as all 3 rear hydraulic ports to our Grand L 3550 LE. Right now, we are just using one for the hydraulic top link. Eventually, we will get the tilt cylinder when we upgrade our turn buckle arms, which are just on the LE version. I might point out that the dealer we purchased from chargers the same amount of labor to install one or 3 rear remotes. Yes, each remote will add to your cost, but I felt it was worth it as more Implements come out with hydraulic options for compact tractors.

I installed a top and tilt kit from Kubota sometime after getting my l4760 it was really easy to do , some things I learned along the way. 1. it makes it a lot easier to hook up implements with the quick hitch if you have a top and tilt kit it makes it easy to match angle and grab implements into position with the top hook 2. you can get away with 1 rear remote and a hydraulic diverter (summit hydraulics makes one for this purpose) letting you swap the 1 outlet with a lever between the 2 cylinders although I did have some issues where at extreme angles the quick hitch would hit the diverter and it would pop out the hoses so it is much nicer to have the 2 dedicated remotes which I eventually upgraded to. 3. it is something that I wish I had gotten upfront and included with the financing instead of a later add on especially since I had to have the dealer install the extra remote ( I was able to install the top and tilt kit myself in the field) as I did not have the facilities to do so myself at the time.

I'm supposed to take delivery of a L3902 with three rear remotes this week. I ordered a top & tilt plus a third set of lines for a Gearmore box blade with hydraulic ripper . There was a small holdup with a back ordered lever. The two neighbors I asked both said not getting rear hydraulics is their biggest regret.

While the hydraulic side link may not be worth the cost to everyone (depending on the attachments used and tasks performed), I think the hydraulic top link is worth the cost to everyone who uses 3 point attachments.

I have both the top and tilt but I have not really needed the top at all. For driveway grading I only use the tilt function. If I could do it over again, I would have just bought the tilt part.

I added a top and tilt to my B2650 and I absolutely LOVE it. I plow my driveway with a rear blade and allowing the tilt to float during plowing is soooo good. Got the kit from my local dealer (it was for a slightly different model but they said it would fit for me) and I did the install myself. Would not be without, but another place it really shines is when loading the tractor onto a trailer, you can tilt your mower or disc WAY up to drive on or off and not scape, then quickly level and lower to chain down.

Landpride is still crazy expensive! $900 plus for just the cylinders and no hoses or hardware (for a LX)!! I was able to get a very nice aftermarket hydraulic toplink (didn't need side tilt) with the hoses for under $300. Once you have it you'll never go back.

Great option if it wasn't so ridiculously expensive. I'll just get off the tractor and adjust the top link...the 3rd function kit was ridiculously priced as it was. Adding rear remotes themselves is another cost prohibitive option but could provide a lot of additional use once you have them. I had the 3rd function kit added after the fact so it cost even more than it would have initially...let my salesman talk me out of that kit when I bought the tractor, shouldn't have listened to him....I haven't got the grapple yet, but its on the list for this year as that was the main reason I got the 3rd function kit added....that and I recall you mentioning that if the tractor model changes those kits might become "obsolete" in the fact the kits get broke down into their individual parts and cost even more...which makes me think I should have the rear remote kit added too for future hydraulic needs. I'd just like to have the hydraulic top link, for a box blade, or land plane, and other attachments like that it would be very useful.

I have wanted this functionality for a while. Q: I have an MX6000. Your website shows 2 kits for the MX, one is $1169 and the other is $1419 - what is not clear is what the difference is; is the cheaper one the cylinders only? I have 6 remote outlets on the machine (3 sets of 2) already.

I got my M7060 with top and tilt stack of 3 valves. They leak like a siev. I've had it in the shop 3 times, and they change O rings, tell me it was fixed, and it leaks as soon as they deliver it. I guess I got to buy some new connections. I think its the connections. I paid 10 grand for the extra warranty, but I sould have paid 15 grand. Maybe that would have made me a valuable client to earn that my tractor gets fixed. I love the tracter, and this is the 3rd piece of equimpment my family purchased from this dealer.

I had my dealer install 2 rear remotes and the Kubota top & tilt kit on my LX2610SU late last year. I called up KTAC to see if I could have this added to my policy, but they said no because I paid cash for the mod, and the policy on the tractor is tied to financing. If I really wanted to insure it, they would have to write up a separate policy and in the event of a loss, I’d have to pay 2 deductibles!
