Going through a massive bummer of a time in my life right now - I'll be officially homeless for the second time by the end of this week. Was always described as a nomad due to how often and far I move within the states (although I never really moved by choice), and lately a lot of people I know have been sending me videos about van life and telling me how it would suit me perfectly. I never even knew this lifestyle existed to be honest. I know I'm oversharing but I've never felt like I had a place to belong, my interpretation of what a home should feel like. I'll be moving across the country again soon to couch surf on some friend's couches for a while. I'm so absolutely tired of what I've been doing and the series of unfortunate garbage that keeps putting me in my predicaments, I want to take a step back from it all and just make some memories and sort of rediscover myself again. I'll probably cringe at myself later for posting this much about myself on a KZbin video but I wanted to let you know if you ever see this how addicted I've been to your videos these last few days and how much they make me smile despite everything going on around me. They've also shown me another option that could work for me even just for a little while. Anyways, thank you, and sorry for oversharing. Keep it up dude, it's meant a lot to me.

Great video, @TTTHFINEPRITTT: I tend to agree with you on the price of gas, Michigan has never reached the five-dollar mark either. Usually, the Midwest is normally lower priced and doesn't try to price gouge. Idaho sounds like it would be nice to visit, but not to live in. I hear Walmart has the cheapest gas prices around, you might try there, next time. Great news for this year, Idaho's gas prices have dropped to three dollars per gallon. Sounds like I will have to plan a fishing/camping trip in the near future to Idaho in my new converted micro truck camper. -Happy trails😀

Hey dont forget to wash millys bed roll to she likes to be clean to, i had a pit boxer for 16 years and she did not like dirty or hairy blankets she always showed she loved my blankets after washing them , and she would love to jump on a clean bed, so i started washing her blankets the same time i washed mine and after that she was happy as long as i kept her bed space clean

Never forget to wash your bedding and your dog's bedding as well. I would give your van a deep cleaning before doing your laundry. And take a shower and give your dog a bath as well. Then laundry should be last on the list of doing things. Then go do your grocery shopping and then everything is clean and sterilized. Yiu and your dog is cleaned up and being able to sleep in clean bedding is tge greatest thing ever. And load up your van jammed packed with groceries. And your all set to go to your next adventure.

Ketchum! This brings back so many memories. Heck, my profile pic is my old boss' dog and me as we were speeding down galena...heading into town for some shopping after a long week on the job. I worked at a summer camp (camp perkins) a while back and I have to say this area has been one of the most beautiful place I have ever been (especially certain times of the year, like late spring, when all is green). I met some really amazing people while I was there and there is so much beauty nearby in the mountains (stay on the west side of the highway between Galena and Stanley!) Hiking up to the bench lakes near redfish for 1 night overnight trip (nice halfday each way) can give you some pretty amazing views, and is relatively easy to do compared or some of the more commited multi-day backpacking trips. The last/4th 'bench lake' has/had a sick place to slide down your butt on leftover snow and drop into the ice cold (but crystal clear) lake, as well as opportunity to scramble up to the nearby peak for some 360 views. Sawtooth lake is also iconic and you can make it most of the way to the very top of Mt. Regan in sandles alone (those Chaco's served me well for many years). Anyway, not sure if any of this is something you are interested in or can accommodate with your ride, but the nostalgia from this place was overwhelming me and I couldn't help but share my thoughts! ALSO, if you are going to be in the area for a while, make sure you do what shopping you can in Hailey. IIRC ketchum has priced jacked because it's very touristy and all the rich people live there, Hailey has more "average" people in it and a normal grocery store to boot. good luck sir and thanks for the content!
