We’re Doug and Jamie - an aussie / american couple who love adventures, good food and exploring new places. For the past few years we have be using what we’ve had to explore more of Australia - which wasn’t much. But in 2020 we upgraded Doug’s work van and it now doubles as our home on wheels part time. 2022 was the year we decided it needed a makeover so we jumped into a big van build series over the winter, ready to hit spring in our new setup! Our hope for this channel is to grow a community of likeminded people and to inspire others to jump in the drivers seat of their own life (pun intended) and create their own magic. And after surviving life in one of the most lockdown cities in the world the last few years, we are back in action ready to share our adventures!

Not free but a low cost campsite is the Fitzroy River Campground between the very lovely Port Fairy and Portland. It’s got drop toilets. BYO fire pit. It’s quite lovely to be where the river meets the sea. Thank you for the episode. I really look forward to watching your adventures in the places that you go. You guys are inspiring. 🎉 cheers.

hahah! no way! what a beautiful spot, near such a gorgeous lake! and is it really pronounced that way?! i could have sworn i've heard others say it barnsdale! haha OOPS! youre going to get real sick of us pronouncing it wrong this entire series! hahaha you have been warned! 😂😂

@DJADVENTURES ....yeh ...many say it that way, but you would never hear anyone from this end of the state say it that way. You should have dropped into the North boat ramp and recreation area. It has an all abilities playground, floating pontoon jetties, bbqs, dual lane boat ramp, ample parking and toilets. It is flat out there all year round. Many boats use the lake for fishing and skiing. Often a steam boat takes to the water along with small sailing boats and stand up paddle boards.

Banns Dale😂 it’s ok, I had an uncle who lived that way so I grew up knowing how to say it. By the way, recently I was corrected on how to say a town, live and learn. Wow, so envious of that first walk, and yes, even the cold plunge! I just need to see where my feet are going… curious, just when did you film this? @@allegrosotto2126 hahaha definitely learning over here!! the first walk was incredible!! if you get to go, get in early to avoid the crowds!! we know you don't like them, just like us! haha we filmed this end of november!! and we are headed out in a couple weeks to film the next adventure! this one definitely is out of our comfort zone!! we will check out the true blues, love a good laugh on the road as you know!
