I recall Torokhtiy also said that the double wraps you got are intended more to the beginner lifters who have trouble with wrapping the regular ones. Here in Finland you pay like +30 euros for the Iron Minds. So double what you paid I guess.

Just wanted to say cheers for the steer towards the ZKC straps, I bought them after watching this a few weeks ago, they’re a marked improvement over the last couple of pairs I’ve had (and worn out) from modifit. Loving the thinner wrist loop. Keep up the good work boys 💪🏼

you have to watch out for a thin strap around the wrist i had a pair that stretched out and were thin and caused my thumb to become sprained in a hang snatch and and losing it behind.

onyx leather straps are my go to and i really like the onyx hemp straps which i modified to make them into speed straps by sewing the strap up higher .

i find some similar zkc straps on aliexpress branded as "LARA EG FITNESS", i'm using for 2 years and still holding very good.

Oh man I’ve been waiting to see which shoe is best recommended. after you do the shoes that you have a video like this for shoes comparing the shoes may be really worthwhile and should go more viral and add more subscribers cuz that is a very heavy investment

I'm still using my leather straps. 35 years running. Don't even remember what brand they are as the label fell off a couple decades ago.😅

You e got to try onyx leather straps! The best imho. If you like cotton go with the onyx hemp straps!

I got a 10 meter roll of 32mm wide 2.5mm thick strap material - 0.60€/m. That will last a lifetime. Sewing the ends takes just a couple of minutes.

How can the zkc be similar to Ironmind? Zkc is cotton and Ironmind is nylon.

If you aren't training for weightlifting (snatch, clean and jerk), this teardrop style of strap likely isn't the best for you tbh.

I can't stand any nylon (or harsh cotton webbing) teardrop straps. Harsh, slippery, cuts my skin up, has multiple layers and edges of material in your hands, not ambidextrous because of the half-twist. The only great style are the other types here, most comfortable, most convenient. I have three separate pairs in that style and none have worn much at all in the past five-ish years. I don't know how those Ma Strength ones broke because mine are similar and don't have that kind of wear and they would never break like that. But it is Ma Strength who's gear has a dodgy reputation. I'm always hoping Hookgrip comes out with a nice version of that style of strap but it hasn't happened.

Unfortunatel regards the Ma Strength too as it's a very good style but we'd had many people mention to us that they'd deteriorated very fast as well.
