Thank you for the insights everyone! Will definitely give bolts another shot maybe after a few days. At the moment with my current stats, I just tried and I still deal more damage with SoulStrike than my Bolts. Maybe after a few days or a week with improved stats my Bolts could catch up to my SoulStrike damage. Thank you again very much everyone!

maybe in the future updates the bolts can be equal to SS but right now SS is the spam, even the whalers in otherservers build crit + damge increase for SS. they can 1 shot mobs

eyyy glad to be of some help. when the PVP scene starts to get more competitive, maybe i could make a guide on that as well. or when we're towards the end game. but a quick tip i can give is to always mind your positioning. always stay at the back, maybe just drop your AoE like, Storm Gust, Lord of Vermillion, and Meteor Storm then take a step back. then if enemy is engaged come in with your soul strikes and bolts. i personally save my Frost Driver for Assassins or melee users that come after me.

In old ragnarok. Stormgust will freeze then stop doing dmg. And lord of vermillion will break the freeze stat at the first hit. So in the end Jupiter thunder is better dps. Idk how the mechanics work in this version

Ya it’s pretty different here tRO. Also skills have way longer CD. Sometimes they change these things to better cater to the mobile mechanics

Meteor storm's hit box is very unreliable for me. Not all meteor hits. I maxed SG and LoV, as you said, its a good combo. Plus more damage from SG to people using Pasana card

It’s a lot more potent PVE-wise but even so for PVP, a single ball more or less hits as hard as a full LOV.

saaaaame! I'm also going Crusader when it comes out. I tried Jupitel, it seems pretty bad sadly. :( The knockback in PVP even at level 10 is pretty short and the damage is pretty underwhelming.

I had to reset my skill as I find bolts more potent compared to SS especially against monsters/ bosses with elemental bolt weaknesses. I had to sacrifice frost diver and LOV though as I find them not as effective as the bolts and SG when farming or boss fights. Still a work in progress build though

bolts > SoulStrike if have more magic attack. will transition into bolts as well when i have more matk. i haven't been as active lately so have to catch up again in terms of stats hehe. but that's actually a pretty good idea, i'll probably reset also and sacrifice LOV as well to go for bolts

bad advice for bolts brother, bolts are better use when elemental counter of mobs are lvl 2 and above. WAY much better to use than soulstrike especially on Bosses. at lvl 65 above you will be using bolts almost all the time.

@@ChinValdes1 it is not all about matk.check the elemental counter in the upper left part of your bag. Also, try to use bolt on level 2 above elemental monsters to do damage test between soul strike and bolt without using harpy.

Bolt skills are actually meta now. They’re useless early game. But now they’re stronger than soul strike. There was also spell crit in classic RO before and also in other RO spin-off games. But it’s funny how everything here crits hahaha
