I'm new to this channel and really enjoying it (subbed!). If you happen to still read comments: What kind of skillet/pan do you use for this (I mean type, not necessarily brand)? I'm just wondering whether chefs use carbon steel for this kind of short-cook tomato recipe (the pan almost looks lightly seasoned), or if a stainless steel or nonstick pan is required.

I would just grill a piece of chicken or something similar and serve it alongside the pasta. That way you get to enjoy the pasta recipe as it is (simple and tasty) and get the protein you're looking for as well. This way, you can let the pasta be the star of the show and just keep the meat simple so the flavours don't compete.
