I can't believe you're able to camp with the kitties! I've tried a few different Curlsmith products, and just haven't hit any that work great for me. That souffle was like glue in my hair. I would say that these products didn't give you your best hair that I've seen. Though your hair always looks good.

We glamped for 10 days and took the kitties home after 7! Ha! We won’t bring them again! I did not love the CurlSmith. I’ve tried it twice and other products work better for me.

I bought that gel hairspray you love and oh my gosh, my hair was SO STICKY! It was awful! I rarely can ever get a cast in my hair and this made it look like I had a cast and no matter what I did I couldn’t get it out. And I only sprayed a very little to try it first too. I hated it, sorry!

Are you sure you tried Aerogel? With the pink lid? It’s literally NOT sticky. It’s one of its selling points. Or are you not a hairspray user so you consider this sticky? I’m confused.

@ yes I got the aerogel one and did one spray all over and I’m telling you, my hair was so sticky! I use hairspray all the time and it was the worst. I could not get my hair to not look like it had a cast or something after spraying it no matter how much oil I used to try and get it out. Never again. I wish I could return it but you can’t. I was so hoping to love it!

Thank you for your reply. The hairspray will not give you a cast. It adds definition and shine. It helps make your curls look great when you spray it on and scrunch it in. Are you using other curl products also? Gel or mousse or a curl cream? When are you applying the Aerogel?

yes, I’ve been doing my curls for years so I do know how to do them, maybe I didn’t scrunch it enough after applying it. Maybe that is the problem. Typically after applying hairspray you wouldn’t really touch your hair as you are “setting” it ya know? So maybe I didn’t do the scrunching part and that’s why it stayed so sticky! And felt like a cast. Ok, maybe I will give it one more shot and try scrunching it. So if you’re not technically using it as a hairspray then, what are you using it for exactly?

It’s for definition and shine whileyou style. It’s in my video when I use it. It’s a medium hold and doesn’t do all that great as an actual setting spray.

You mentioned your workout. Am trying to take off a few so am wondering if you are still on a weight loss journey. If so, are you cutting portions, on low carb? Any suggestions?

Hi! A couple years ago we went to the Vanderbilt weight loss clinic. They put me on phentermine and I took it for about five months. It was amazing! I love phentermine but it made me incredibly constipated. Just picture the worst case scenario, it was awful, I don’t take it anymore! Then I tried the carnivore diet and I finally switched it to keto. Which I love! I also do the Pure Barre workout. I try to go four times a week. It has changed my life! Through all of this I also discovered I am gluten intolerant so keto is even more amazing for me than I knew.

May I ask what the headband is that you use? Seems it is thin and not too noticeable, with your thick hair anyway. I like my fine, thin hair pulled up some, away from my face, like when I put sunglasses on top of my head, and your headband looks like it works similarly.

The curls are pretty, but your right side looks flat. I get it's parted but how can you/me get it to not look flat and be full and curly on both sides? Thanks

Yep it was flat! You can add more layers to that side to even it out. Also, I’ve tried Curlsmith twice and it’s not for me.

I would wear the bangs curly or straight and wear it to the side. And I need to make an updo video! I have a few easy updo options. I’ll try to do that soon!

Not at all! I only comb my hair when I shampoo and condition it. While the conditioner is in, I comb it out. That’s the ONLY time I comb it! I just shake it out when I wake up on mornings I’m not shampooing.
