​@konr0167 I know it's been 3 years, but Vegeta before attaining ssj could withstand 300× gravity while Kid Trunks in his first appearence couldn't withstand 150 in base. "Mastered ssj" might make Trunks even stronger than grade 2/3 Vegeta though even by then

Another thing to remember is that Goten and Trunks say they're drained from Gotenks using SSJ3, so Piccolo being the dominant personality of Boo doesn't really prove anything.

except it is stated many times that buu only takes on the strongest persons appearance! trunks and goten arent weak by any means but they are not stronger than piccolo thats absurd considering that having potential and being able use a lot of power isn't everything for a warrior. you need real experience and they dont have any outside of the buu saga. also goten being relative to gohan might be true due to gohan being out of shape but once he is a little conditioned he should be stronger. that all said i think that goten could have a real shot of being a stronger fighter but only if he is able to compete in battles and isnt throw away like in super. if they can find a use for the boys that be great

this is why i main goten in xenoverse and desperately want mentor goten in the game.. goten could easily be stronger then black frieza, gohan beast, and even broly if he just trained seriously under a good instructor like whis... i mean think about it... goten trained for MAYBE 30 minutes and improved way more then piccolo thought they would if they trained the whole time... they surpassed what piccolo thought IN MAYBE half the time... imagine how much stronger he would get with a few months or even a year under whis instead of half training with trunks....

I 100% agree with you especially with goten Goten would have most insane potential out of the hybrid siayan (maybe bra has more as her father has God ki but we dont know how affect potential) He become a ssj at 7 yrs old Did minimal training with chichi and gohan and was close to trunks power who trained with vegeta in the gravity room Shocked gohan even though he was a ssj and goten was in base Super really undermined the potential of goten and trunks and could've been so useful against the RoF soldiers in the TOP and against moro goons

Goten should be the strongest saiyan by the time he grows up. Gohan would slack off being a scholar, Trunks would be a CEO also slacking off.

Not really, super is being consistent with the end of Z which is 7 years after the Buu saga. Trunks and Goten seemed like they were the same as when they were kids, they got too caught up with human lifestyle. They had Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, 18 protecting the earth no need for them to get stronger than SSJ1 or 2. If they fuse they can take on 99.9% of all beings in the universe aside from gods of destruction, beings like Moro or Buu etc…. Which are 1 in a quintillion of living beings. As a matter of fact it’s explained why Goten and trunks, is due to S cells. Sayians accumulate S cells in peaceful times which are then passed on to their kids. They had an elevated amount of S cells from birth hence why they can access the transformation. Gohan is still the hybrid with most potential despite having periods of high stress and not so peaceful. Vegeta acknowledged it always that Gohan is a prodigy not his 2 sons future/present or Goten.

I agree with you. It is for sure that Goten is stronger than a lot of people in the Cell Saga. Imo : Gohan MSSJ Cell Games > Goku MSSJ Cell Games ≈ Gohan SSJ 1 Buu Saga ≈ Goten SSJ 1. Keep up the great content dude.

You wanna know why he's underrated? Because he's never allowed to do anything!! He has the "potential" to be a great character, but he doesn't do anything with said potential. Gohan was shown small glimpses of his hidden potential all throughout Z, Meanwhile Goten got 1 maybe 2 instances of hidden potential and whenever the time arose for him to demonstrate his power, he fumbles and fails. And now he's relegated to being background canon fodder

goten is by far the biggest under used potential in all of dragon ball... and i do mean that... he is the youngest super saiyan to ever live and was easily able to fight the androids off BY HIMSELF.... it took the gang YEARS of training to even approch android level and vegeta knew they were coming AND STILL got his ass beat... goten would have mopped the floor with vegeta and goku back then... look at frieza... frieza is the strongest character and he has only trained for 10 years and a few months... just imagine how strong goten would be if he did the same thing... he would not only be stronger then frieza but he would be stronger then all the gods of destruction too...

You don't necessarily need to gain a lot of power to be powered up more than before in a fused state due to how powerful fusion power up is. They did evidently become stronger, just not "even further beyond" level. Besides all of the statements a-like "Kids are stronger than Piccolo" or "Gotenks now will punch buu really hard" can technically be refering to their full power(SSJ state), so yeah SSJ Gotenks>Your favourite verse.
