The opener from the classic & final Undertones The Sin of Pride LP..perfect way to kick off the journey. The Sin of Pride has so many highlights that haven't aged..what about Soul Seven? 'In a library of Fools where spectators hide their senses..It's Alright Yeah"..or Love Before Romance?..heartbreakingly beautiful.."she sends me underground when it's hard to take the strain"..i used to listen to that song when love was occurring before romance...The Undertones were superb they didn't stay in the one genre, they grew and produced some epic music..if anyone asked my to name my favorite Irish band of all time..I'd immediately say The Undertones..many thanks for posting the clip

***** yeah i guess so Kieran..i adore this LP it's pure genius..i think the LP is a great example of how the band progressed from a brash punk band to a group who understood the studio production process..which is clearly evident on Sin Of Pride..great to read your comments and hear from a fellow fan of this classic LP

newellgirl it's a shame the band went under financial struggles, if they didn't this amazing album may have had more prestige!

A great song and video, pity it wasnt a Hit. From the joyous sounds of The Undertones, you would never have known all the Trouble that inflicted Northern Ireland at the time

I've never heard ot this band before, I am of the age but I never heard of them back then. I just discovered Teenage Kicks, absolutely one of the best songs I've ever heard even though the guy's voice is kind of annoying. Rocks so hard. I've now listened to all the other songs and I realize why I never heard of them, Total one hit wonder, actually not even since I never even heard of their one good song. I'm really surprised most of these vids are them being on TOTP I don't understand all yous saying this is such a great band, they basically suck but had one song where they hit it out of the park.
