I'm 66 and this is a great reminder of the wonderful energy and originality of punk/new wave. I am far too old to pogo now (without doing myself an injury haha) ,but I do wish that this great music would come back 2023 style.

John O'Neill is right up there among the greatest songwriters of his (or any other) generation ... I can't think of any other member of a rock/pop/punk/new wave act of that era who has written as many memorable hits, other than the likes of Sting (The Police) and Paul Weller (The Jam)

Dont believe the belfast bias & hype of punk rock. Outcasts, SLF rubbish These were the genuine article, unique, pure punk. I ws there b4 the poser harp bar, the pistols had spilt by then. No labels and mohicans. These are the occupied 6 counties best. Our Wire/ Buzzcocks, Ramones. So original. 🔥

Pulp was formed in 1978. Their vibe didn't suit the late 70s or the 80s so it took until the 90s for them to get anywhere.
