Have you see the pollution and trash coming out of the 3rd world? It's the reason why there's thousands of square miles of plastic trash floating in the ocean.

Afghanistan cost around 2 trillion. Current estimate to go full renewable with Nuke baseline is around 4.5 trillion. The money is there if there is political will.

The tech and funds exist to make a baseline nuclear energy grid. The people don't want it. No politician is going to push nuclear on a constituency that doesn't want it. Have we already forgotten the GE Boycott?

Climate justice is too often ignored or mocked or weaponised by deniers (think kids mining rare earth minerals for EVs). But it has to be front and centre.

How is the 77% figure calculated? Last time i looked, China (if we can trust their reports) produced more, gross, than Australia. The four you mention are the highest PER CAPITA but Australia has a tiny population compared to the others

Yeah and didnt a recent volano eruption also release an estimate to last 100 years worth of emissions?
@RedShirtSmith

It might take into effect historical emissions, which would take into account how long these countries have been producing CO2 and benefitting from them.

@@SergeantSpandex No recent volcano eruptions have come anywhere close to humankinds emissions, the USGS estimates that we produce 130 times more than all volcanoes yearly. That would change if, for example, the Yellowstone mega volcano exploded but then we would have other things to worry about.

@scottabc72 oh yeh, it was annual volcano emissions being 200-440 Mil Tons versus 460 Mil Tons from Australia annually. So high activity years are almost equivalent to Australia
