The scariest thing ever happened the other day. My wife went into premature labor with the birth of our son almost 5 weeks before her due date... what started as a quick check up quickly spiraled into one of the most intense and scary moments of my whole life.... but guess what? IT WAS WORTH IT!

Your mom saying “you’ll have a better understanding of me” really hits home and she is SO right and I’ve never heard anyone tell their children that when becoming a parent themselves but it’s so dang true. Once you become a parent, you understand your parents so much more and you have such a different profound respect for them. And it just heals something inside you knowing what your parents went through for you and what they went through WITH you. Congrats sawyer. I haven’t watching in a very long time (probably 10 years at this point) but I’m so glad this popped up on my feed.

From the moment I heard the inside out soundtrack my flood gates opened this Sunday Morning. I’m actually melting from all the emotions and can’t imagine the intensity of emotions you all must be feeling as parents. When Angelique teared up and said she heard her dad’s voice saying “it’s better to be safe than sorry” and seeing your mom smile and get emotional over Atlas. I lost my mom about 22 months ago and I know she would have the same exact response if she saw my kid. I canttt 😭😭😭 just feeling all the feels. This video touched me deeply. I had an emergency c-section at 1am on Mother’s Day where I gave birth to my son at 26w2d. He is 6 weeks old today and we still have probably another 6 weeks or so before he can graduate from the nicu and come home to us.
