Matt has always been a watch guy and always been cool. I used to watch every video he made in the canyons. He doesn’t give a shit about price or hype he just likes what he likes and it’s refreshing.

It's always interesting to see people who have the resources to buy basically any watch but choose more humble pieces. I mean he modded Rolex off the dial 😂 that's like 95% of the reason to buy that watch in the first place.

Love Grand Seiko, most probably would not buy one. They are trying extremely hard to destroy and dilute their own brand and workmanship. Their models are designed based on dials, not the engineering and movements etc. Very complicated set of configurations and numbers for one movement and complication. Also, noticed they try to copy others' features. Where are the grand complications? Seiko has some of their designs and complications, that's good. But still, there should be a clear demarcation. Its all jumbled up. Last, if I have to pay approx 15K for perfection for a time and date complication and only 50m water resistance, why don't I buy an equally perfect used Jaeger, with a chronograph, 100m water resistance and maybe an annual calendar.

I'm autistic and I was subject to targeted abuse on the watch crunch app. The watch crunch team did absolutely nothing to address it despite reports from myself and other users. They told me they couldn't do anything and to keep ignoring it. Very poor.

Lefty people out there (like me) just wear your watch on the left wrist where it belongs, how many times you use a pen or pencil when wearing a watch or do something with your dominant hand that the watch would interfere….
