For me the process was so gradual that when the first shift happened I was like "ok, yup, that's so obvious and kinda boring" it was only the days after when I was walking around with a feeling of effortlessness where I started to develop bliss and appreciation for what had happened.

Hearing you read it is a bit surreal. Haha. I'm reminded of that moment in Full Metal Jacket. "Is that you John Wayne, is this me?" "WHO SAID THAT?" "WHICH ONE OF YOU SAID THAT?" Or even the Beastie Boys [can't, won't, don't stop]: "Don't get mad cause I'm beguilin' I'm off the hook, so don't bother dialin' They're gonna put me in the b-i-n And if I die, notify the next of kin Can't, won't, don't stop, can't, won't, don't stop Can't, won't, don't stop, can't, won't, don't stop Movin' on Fresh!"

“Everything is different and yet nothing has changed.” Ain’t that the truth lol. I resonate much with this commentary. You have always said awakening is nothing like you imagine. And you were right.

Just listening to this, whether it is the transference of the energy from John's words, to your's, Angelo's, from there, to here somatically there is returning to the state, the natural state, a sense of belonging like no other. Living in Canada and your selves in America. Glory Be. Thank you for the sharing and bringing the whole together. Such gratitude and eternal love for what is happening!

Nice, if you haven't the shift, like me. You wonder if it's true. The sort of awkward sincerity of the newly liberated feels sincere and inspiring.

I would love for you to have Jim Newman on for a discussion (maybe you have?). I find Jim and Tony Parsons' brand of "radical non-duality" to be a real splash of cold water on the apparently non-existent face. They really strip comfort away from the "seeker" (as I have been for 9 plus years, following my initial awakening event). For those of us who enjoy the "story" of a more sacred pursuit of non-duality, I find them useful in terms of loosening the grip of personal context. There is no point. No purpose. There is no process to awakening. No steps to be followed. It's all just happening, regardless. It is not in any way personal. There is no eternal now (as it implies a locality within the construct of time). Just a chaotic, apparently unfolding "is-ness" happening TO no one FOR no one. Even though this POV is on some level triggering to the devout seeker, it can be extremely invigorating. I actually enjoy conversations with ChatGPT in which I ask it to play the role of Tony Parsons in vigorously contentious discussions on radical non-duality. lol. The reason I enjoy your channel - I find that you soften the edges off it just a bit and play the middle ground with great dexterity and empathy for the "highly triggerable". 😁❤

I have a whole google document called "is it worth it?" where I have been tracking random instances of nonduality folk saying good things about awakening/no-self/etc. lol... 😂 it's helpful when I get terrified. So thanks for repeating that yes, it's worth it, for sure - to give everything to this.

Hi Angelo, your videos are great, but I see little to nothing about post liberation. I am noone, I guess. But the path after liberation is just not defined. Is it because there's little to say or because it would be just impossible to say it? I guess I've had a very intense awakening, so much of what I had gone through is beyond. There still remains something that's unfolding much more slowly and in a much more balanced way. But I feel resonant with people like frank yang who talk about the process after awakening. Do you think you'll start talking about it?

I talk about it all the time, what specifically are your challenges?

@SimplyAlwaysAwake I mean after the complete dropping away of the self structure

@@SimplyAlwaysAwake Specifically my challenges right now are feeling very low on energy (I sleep 12 hours a day) and have deja vus everyday, multiple times per day. I guess besides that it's pretty good. Sometimes I struggle with fear over talking about sensitive topics like awakening with my friends, I feel like I become the center of attention and that weirds me out. And that's it

Hey Angelo, have you seen cases where the practice of semen retention can accelerate spiritual awakening?
@ronjenks413313 күн бұрын
Acausal.
@SimplyAlwaysAwake12 күн бұрын
In truth I have no position on this. Certainly one can wake up without this practice. However if it is a method that works for you to push the ego structure, then it may well be valuable :)

@@SimplyAlwaysAwake Thank you very much, Angelo. I truly appreciate your response on this. Among all the people who talk about awakening, you are definitely the one I resonate with the most. I'm glad to know your perspective on this! 💯
