Oklaroots is a wonderful channel. I have followed her for a while and her tutorials are great. She explains things really well and I also love how she will show the mistakes she makes, it always makes me feel better. Thanks for this video, I am starting to get into bagmaking and I love your channel.

I made a GameCube-shaped bag for a friend as a birthday gift and holy moly was I unprepared for how difficult it was to dive into a super complicated bag 😂😅 if I’m anything, I’m OVER-ambitious 😭 I love hearing others being passionate about stuff like bag making tho cuz I’ve learned SO much even in doing the one bag project.

Hi Amy, i loved this video and the info youve given about all the notions, fabrics, et . I've made alot of bags over the years. They are alot of fun to make, with so much less stress around fitting like we have with garments. Your project bags are cute.. love the sock making bag, so cute and functional. I really love the rainbow bag for your daughter. I bet all her friends are jealous. Love your channel ❤️ 💕

Awe thank you! I totally agree about fitting, it makes such a nice change to garment sewing! Plus you can use all the amazing quilting fabric that doesnt make it to an actual quilt. Thanks so much for watching!

I think the amethyst is a winner for it, though I have seen some people add in the pages from By Annie's "A place for everything" pattern and that looks so brilliant! www.byannie.com/shop/pba207-2-a-place-for-everything-2-0-12656?page=8&category=8#attr= Thanks for watching/listening

Ahh ok I need that leaf bag now. Funnily enough I made my first proper bags, other than little draw string ones, earlier this year too lol And I really enjoyed it, I’ve been eyeing leather working for bags and accessories for a while too but I’m trying to be good and not overspend on yet another new hobby😅 but someday I know it’s inevitable.

Lol, we are peas in a pod! I have so much work to do today but the call of the leather shop is damn loud! Twig and Tale did such a good job on the leaf satchels btw, really great bag and its a fast project too. Thanks for watching (or listening, im new to the podcast thing)
