Welcome to Pooisham! Maggies is about the only thing in Pooisham that's not been messed up by the council, it's an institution, the lady herself was lovely and full of Irish charm and is missed by all that came into contact with her and her boys carry it on really well, it's a great Café I've been going there for 30 years plus

@gewglesux those apartments are one of the things, they are selling of land to developers to build those buildings on and they are unaffordable to normal people and they are going up everywhere, a lot of our roads around the area have been closed by the council in the name of reducing polution but are really just income grabbers because of the fines if you fall for going into them. As an example one road cost drivers 3 million pounds in 3 months polution of course hasn't changed. Edit the other thing is lack of parking, that's been used as a cash generator too.
