Another season of Drag Race UK has finished up, but the reception to this season has not been nearly as positive as the first two seasons, and I'm here to solve the mystery as to why!
Double shantays, double eliminations, two winners, no winners, no season of RuPaul's Drag Race has been so twisty and turny. And not many have been called into question for its riggory like this season has. Should Choriza and River both been sent home? Should Krystal Versace have won the season? Were Charity Kase and Vanity Milan treated unfairly by RuPaul and the producers? We're going to dig into every episode of UK3 and figure out what would have happened if the season was judged fairly!

kitty had the most well-rounded performances of the season, and i feel like ppl overlook her bcus production spent more of their time focusing on ella and krystal as frontrunners. yes, the fugly ball win was questionable, but she was very much deserving of the dragoton win (and even the draglexa win). i think the reason they didnt gave her the win then was bcus they weren't sure if kitty was top 3 worthy. if she won earlier on, she would've felt like a consistent threat throughout the season, giving her more of a winner storyline/edit (most winners have spread out wins in the start, middle, and end of the season). the other time she won, she still didn't get the recognition she deserved bcus it was split with ella. tldr; kitty doesn't get enough recognition bcus she was overlooked by production, despite deserving just as much as the other top 3

I might be biased but I actually would change Ella's and Kitty's posittions in the ball, for me Kitty's last look was fugly but nothing close to fashionable whilst Ella's was actually both + their other looks were kinda fine so imo Kitty would be in the bottom, idk if Kitty would survive Vanity's Scandalous assassination as Ella could do though (as Derek said, she's a good lipsyncer and she was on a row, but Kitty wasn't so...)

I think you had a mistake in the episode two lip sync results. If it went the way you had it, that would've been Electra's first time in the bottom. I think a lot of her frenetic energy came in because, in the original, this was her second time in the bottom and she saw the writing on the wall. I think her performance would've been much more like what happened in episode one and, I think Charity would've went home.

@@highonsugar6273 I'd say there were aspects of Charity's looks that were good. But in both the garment itself (the two red dresses) were not particularly well tailored. What worked about them were the elaborate sleeves, the headpieces, and the prosthetics, not so much the actual garment. Krystal, on the other hand, created two very complete looks. I personally would've put Choriza in the top two over both of them, but a choice between Charity and Krystal and I would pick Krystal.

I feel this season would be so much more pleasant to watch. Even though a lot of the people who go home are in the same order besides like Scarlet and Charity it would still be just a much more pleasant experience without so much production shenanigans and tearing the queens down at every point they can. Also Kitty should have won the season anyways and I will die on that hill. (also Scandalous wouldn't be a double shantay, Ella's great but not a great lipsyncher and Vanity would easily send her home, it would be a really fishy double shantay.)

Soooooooo we said we werent having any gags other than Victoria going home because that was more on the serious side than a gag, but you really chose to believe Vanity Milan would have a hard time or not simply destroy Ella in that lipsync?? And you decided to make a double shantay? No mama, first, the double shantay happened not because Ru remembered there was 1 less queen, but because it was her favorite queen battling to stay (Scarlett), because she could have used it for Veronica Green, but they decided to wait, and clearly it looked like they still had to use it early on because of how poorly their fav did. Second, we saw what Ella vs Kitty was, and that was a choice not giving Kitty the solo win. Ella was very crunchy throughout the lipsync. Lastly, we have already seen queens go home with 1 or 2 wins in multiple seasons before, frontrunners leaving and such, so why is it such a hard thing to fathom for everyone now that Vanity sends Ella home despite the abysmal difference in track records? Ella was not Ru's favorite, not even close, so she would have not used that double save there. If anything, she would have saved it in case Krystal performed poorly. These wins, highs and bottoms also seemed very shaky: I dont know if I went into a portal to another dimension, but I did not find Choriza funny at all in the snatch game, but...I wouldnt have still put her in the bottom 2, just not high. We saw Vanity did just as bad if not worse than Krystal, so what was the factor that saves Vanity over her from lsync against River? Then that Fugly Ball, jesus christ, why are these even considered? How is a queen that was not even given the chance to be in a challenge suddenly considered the winner? Yes her looks were amazing, but we literally dont know if she falls behind or not, with so much to be put on, how do we know she would be ready every single time and not pull a Kahmora Hall on us? We literally dont know, so...we favor her because we liked her and her looks were so good, so the scenario is created as the best scenario for her so she can win? I've always thought in these scenarios, the highest we can put queens who were never there is High, not a win, because that would simply be ignoring any possibilities she could or would flop in any aspect, and turn the episode into their playground, I personally dont see it fair.
