The one thing I will say about these types of stories is that a lot of love and care goes into reading them. The same kind of care that goes into audible books seems to go into these online story.

Why make the thing angry? Try talking to it. Try, I don't know, "Yes, I can see you now, but why do you want to be seen? Do you want something from me?" That's what I'd do. As always, if nothing changed in response to attempts to reason with it, I'd probably go on as the main character did, but seriously, sometimes spirits want something other than your death.

+Wandergirl108 Thats what I always think!! Im like yes, i know they might scare you at first, but some of them are like bees. Don't bother them or get in their way, and they won't get in yours. I have lived by that and to this day, i have never been stung by a bee. Also, when i lived in germany, we used to live in a haunted mansion/castle. There were lots of spirits there, but we didn't aggravate them or scream at them, so they were pretty nice.

Summary for myself: A guard monitoring the cameras notices strange noises and has another guard investigate, in which the other guard suddenly looks up at the camera with wide eyes and mouth hanging open. The man with the cameras is too scared to let the guard back in, even when he acted normal, he held a strange stench that convinced the man to not let him in. The same weird wide eyes and open mouth problem happens to many employees as some sort of shadow person keeps talking about how it sees them as they see it. Eventually the man quits, finding out that people affected by the shadow kill themselves not long after.
