Yeah, for real. Dude had it all,, just no personality or moral compass. he just blamed lack of sex for plain sociopathy and evil. He couldn't be evil, there needed to be a reason. And it wasn't his fault. Oh heavens no. Congratulations on making it 26 years 👏. That's impressive!

@@brandonrichuski7759I feel like that's absolutely false since marriage isn't based on the day you get married. It's a dynamic relationship with ups and downs. There's just as many studies as I bet you've looked at that prove that point completely wrong.

Having meaningful human connections is much more valuable than a car. He had a cold upbringing and was SEVERELY autistic. The reason he killed people is because he never felt any human warmth. He keeps saying "these people would never accept me" This dude suffered INTENSELY, and I'd rather loose all my material wealth than having to live life like he had to. I'm also slightly autistic, so I can sympathise with some of his experience. It's cruel. Imagine you couldn't express yourself or connect to people emotionally at all. It's hell. Im thankful for only being slightly autistic and also self aware enough to not be an asshole. This dude was living life with a cruel curse.

I have never been attracted to women *or* men, and that still holds true now, at 25. No girlfriends, no sex, no attraction or sexual desires...and yet, harming another person never crosses my mind. I don't even consider it, really. I'm glad that - for as fucked up I am - I would never hurt anyone, even at my worst, haha. Mine own self? Different story, lol

@nationalistfanatic6291
@nationalistfanatic6291 Ай бұрын
He’s half Asian which means half of his genetics were not White. Asian “men” never had to pursue women, they simply had arranged marriages organized between parents and women were “given” to them. So this only happened because he was born into a White system that’s merit based, including dating, and so he just couldn’t stand it. This is also why Asian men on dating apps fare the worst out of all men dating in the USA and other western countries. It’s also why they’re shorter and least desirable physically if you know what I mean. There never was an incentive or selection process for true masculinity when women are just given to you because parents have money…

For any young guys out there feeling like he did, here’s some advice: 1. Be kind and loving. Don’t try to toughen up and compete with other guys. Instead, be affectionate with family and friends. Be gentle and sweet. 2. Work on your own confidence. Insecurities and rejection suck, and the only person who can heal them is you. 3. Develop your own style. Wear what you like. Don’t dress for anyone else. 4. Find hobbies and creative outlets. Self expression is crucial for confidence, peace, and growth. It will be ok. Fill your life with love instead of spite and vengeance. I promise you it will get better.

@@tusharkumar2907 It really doesn't, bud. Blaming being single on your height is a great way to avoid taking responsibility for the fact that you have a horrible personality/no social skills. And if you're not conventionally attractive stop expecting girls way out of your league to be into you, even Elliot who had zero options didn't feel like settling for an average girl, he was only interested in those from the "hottest sorority". And the fact that he was rich and attractive really proves that it had everything to do with him being creepy. Data from 2019 shows that 80% of americans will be married at least once by the age of 60.. hmm I wonder if 80% of people are rich, tall and attractive

@@kira33533 personality and social skills means nothing in dating world. Its all tall height and good looks. Even chads with antisocial behaviour get laid. 80% will get married eventually. He wasn't even bad-looking, it was his weird personality. The students who knew him personally said he never talked to anyone, whenever someone approached him to be friends with him, he was abrupt-spoken and haughty, yet he constantly wondered how come no one befriended him. What he really complained about was being rejected by the people he considered "worthy" of his companionship, that is by the rich or cool and gorgeous, white blond people. Dude had complexes with dark-skinned guys, the blacks and the asians, partly because he was half-asian himself. Even if he did could've got a girlfriend or a lover, eventually she would've been tired of him and push him away, which couldn't have really marked a difference in his psyche and probably kill her.

What this guy never seemed to get was it wasn't his looks or his clothes that the girls didn't like but something unpleasant that shone through in his personality. No matter how much he tried to hide this narcissistic, vengeful side, it was probably easily transparent to everyone who encountered him. Maybe some personality challenges were present from birth, but I believe most of them were things that could have been overcome, except maybe true psychopathy, which is possibly an incurable defect in the way a person processes (or doesnt) empathy. The solution to all his perceived problems were in the one thing he didn't ever seem to consider: the way he interacted with others.

I’m a 30 year old virgin, was the fat girl all through school, was bullied mercilessly, was asked out on dates as bets and jokes by boys I had crushes on (so that’s left me with deep seeded fear and reluctance to socialize) and never once did I think that it was every other girl/woman’s fault that boys/men didn’t like me. I played a part in it, as I got older, and never built up any self esteem, so I’ve spent the majority of my life wishing I knew how to overcome my own insecurities and fears. Even with therapy, it all won’t click for myself. I never ever blamed anyone for not wanting me, not finding me attractive, not wanting to have a relationship, or even sex, because the people I find attractive and wish I had the guts to talk to, don’t owe me a second of their time. I don’t know how it would ever be anyone else’s fault when I didn’t make an effort. He should’ve made an effort instead of buying expensive sunglasses, shoes, pants and dress shirts and thinking women would immediately fall to their knees once he was near them. It truly sounds like he never spoke to any woman outside of his family.

I have a co worker that reminds me a lot of Elliot. The lack of social skills and social cues and self-awareness can make it so incredibly hard to make friends and connections with people. And with him also being narcissistic and all around very unlikable. Instead of trying to improve his personality he believed it was other peoples fault for not liking him or not wanting to be around him.
@scentlessapprentice88
@scentlessapprentice88 3 ай бұрын
Well maybe he just doesn't like anyone enough to hold any meaningful conversation with. Some people are like that. They do their jobs and want to be left alone. Just because you think someone is a certain way doesn't make them narcissistic. People throw that word around today just like racist. It begins to muddy the waters. If you want to split hairs about it, we all are to a degree, some worse then others. An example could be your comment about your co worker who apparently doesn't want anything to do with you. You took personal offense to it enough to write a comment about it to us on utube lol.
@scentlessapprentice88
@scentlessapprentice88 3 ай бұрын
Why should they have to change in order to satisy your social viability requirements? Maybe thats just how your co worker is. Think about what you wrote or reread it. Now pretend youre someone else who just stumbled upon your comment..You could be the one with the problem. Just because someone doesn't want to talk to you or anyone around you at work, it doesn't qualify them as being a narcissist. Everyone slaps labels on people today. The truth of the matter is that we all exhibit narcissistic personality traits. Everyone. Like i said, some of us more then others. That being said, how do we know you're not the narcissist? Lol. I bet the person you work with didn't come on a social platform to write about you lol. I know it sounds stupid but l think you get the point.

I read his entire manifesto. The most tragic thing about Elliot Rodger is that his problem went beyond misogyny. He just didn't understand how human relationships work. He didn't know how to connect with other people in a genuine and true way. All of his attempts to socialize were artificial. He basically didn't have any interesting internal content to share for any friendship or relationship, and yet he pushed everyone away who tried to get close to him because he thought he was a superior being. His manifesto can be summed up in pages and pages of enormous envy of other people's happiness along with a shocking lack of self-responsibility. He certainly must have suffered from some degree of autism but that was also accompanied by psychopathy or narcissism due to his complete lack of empathy with others. The idea that Rodger had of human bean was something abstract, reductionist and utopic. I'm pretty sure that if for some reason some pretty blonde girl jumped into Rodger's lap with her legs spread, he wouldn't have absolutely ANY IDEA what to do with her.

What’s sad about this whole thing is this guy could have enjoyed his time alone. I understand people want relationships so bad to the point where that’s all they think about and crave in their lives. But I can attest that relationships can destroy and destabilize your life. I’ve gone through so many heartbreaks and I had a divorce in my life that came close to breaking me. This guy didn’t even know he had it so good. I would love to visit those areas he was in by myself for complete silence. He was so self obsessed over hierarchy, status, looks and getting girls that he lost himself in a delusional world that doesn’t exist for anyone. If you try way too hard to be with a girl, they sense it immediately and they will not share the same interest no matter how good you look or your clothes. This kid murdered people for no reason because he couldn’t stand back for a moment to take in the absurdity of what he was doing. And what did it change? Nothing other than lives ended for no good reason. What a waste of life.

If someone likes you, good, if they don't, you can just have other aspects of your life in order to wait for a potential partner if you truly like companionship that much. Though I may be biased since I have a stable relationship, but I have also witnessed being single. It never seemed like a situation born out of desperation, but rather due to personal choice since I wanted no responsibilities or distractions back then. It is sad to see people focusing so much about these things in life. Even if I am in a relationship right now, I focus a damn lot on my professional side of life as well. I believe that what is creating people like these is not simply a lack of empathy and isolation but primarily a lack of purpose.
