Bob was a target because of his socio-political impact on the masses, the oppressed, the poor etc. The FBl and Cointelpro marked him as a target for bring a potential "black messiah" like Garvey, MLK, Malcolm X, Huey P Newton, Stokely Carmichael, Lumumba etc and thus a danger to the status quo establishment

He left this vail in 1981 he had done everything JAH set out for him to do. And his works he left has been amazingly strong since. People today are amazed by the continuous growth of this man affecting people today! To say he just simply died is a lie. You’re see him again if you believe in ever lasting life.🙏🏾🔥🙏🏾

Bob Marley visited me in a dream once . He still had his dreads and smoking weed . He was sitting across from me , he leaned in towards me and called me by my name , then he told me not to worry about anything especially money . He also said , just live my life nothing is what it seems .

I knew him(I also knew Peter Tosh) for a while in the early seventies when the Wailers were reinventing(around the post Lee Perry period) their group and was looking for a keyboard player. I was attending Kingston College at that time, knew Clive Chin and Agustas Pablo, and played piano. My parents were however against it, because of the heavy Rastafarian vibes, so I decided not to try out. I still did meet him occassionally while he played football in Vineyard Town, as I had a girlfriend there that I was seeing. R.I.P. Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Lee Perry, Neville Livingston, Agustas Pablo, Pat Kelly, and many others from my youth in Jamaica.

@@casp6426 Thanks for your kindness. Although I wasn't able to join the Wailers in '70-71, I did have a musician who played with them in my band. Larry McDonald(percussionist and drummer) has played on 5 of my albums, also played with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Livingston in their various solo projects. Larry is one of the overlooked treasures of(Jamaican) music, and should be up their with the Wailers as a Legend. In addition to playing with the Wailers individually, he has also played with Toots and The Maytals, Boris Gardener,Lee Perry, among many other Jamaican artists, and internationally with such artists as the late Gil Scott Heron, Monty Alexander, and Taj Mahal to name a few. He's currently playing with the Legendary Jamaican group the Skatalittes, and I'm happy to call him my friend.

@hartleycwhite
@hartleycwhite Жыл бұрын
@@stevenmutumbu2860 Her name is Beverly Kelso. There's so much more to the original Wailers story. For instance it was Bunny, Bob, and Junior Braithwaite that used to hang out and sing together. Peter Tosh (McIntosh) was already playing his acoustic guitar around Trench Town(then called Back o Wall) before joining the Wailing Wailers.He was also involved in music distribution before the Wailers rise. The ladies Bevely Kelso, Rita Marley came later. The lead vocals on It Hurts to be Alone is not Beverly Kelso, but Junior Braithwaite. Constantine Walker, and The Barrett Brothers also came later. If memory serves it was The Wailing Wailers, The Wailers, then Bob Marley and the Wailers. However depending on who printed the label for the 45s it could vary, and not depending on who sang lead vocals. (Bob Marley also had moved to the US, before coming back and offering songs to the Texas singer Johnny Nash- Guava Jelly among others) My memory is not as good as it was, but my father was the President Of The Jamaican Musicians Union in the early sixties and many are the stories of the Jamaican music scene that I could disclose. But its best to let sleeping dogs lie and peoples name not tarnished.

Bro he died of cancer, he was told about the cancer in his toe before it spread. Bob Marley made the decision to not cut the toe due to the fact it would mess up his dancing/skanking. So he didn’t cut it, even tho he could’ve learned to dance again, and instead he left it there. It later spread to his brain and his whole body. No one killed him or did anything suspicious. He just denied medical help for his beliefs and then once it got really bad, he tried but it was too late

Although Marley was given just a month to live he carried on for six more months. During his treatment in Bavaria he made progress and Marley started to believe. But Dr Issel got upset at Marley's entourage when he found out that he was given Jamaican foods he didn't allow. He decided there were no need to continue if they were doing things behind his back. This was a long and painful agony of Bob Marley. He died peacefully after saying goodbye to his family in Miami.

We THANK THE MOST HIGH for our Artist that have not sold out to Satan's world and are rooted in the All n All, The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. Bob's words and philosophy are needed today more than ever, as we watch Israel and the West commit ANOTHER genocide, this time of the Palestinian people. A poem dedicated to Rastafari from the book; TRYIN TIMES from the Pyramids to the Projects. RASTAFARI How do we do Bob Justice? How do we capture Jah spirit and put it in a book, much less in these few words? How do we study a God born from black and white and finding eternal life in the red, green, black and gold? How do we honor a man steeped in Rastafari theology, endowed in the principles of the Great Marcus Garvey, and recognizing the last emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie I as the Messiah? Why did this great one grow away from Christian dogma to realize at a young age he was born Rasta? Why have they tried to reduce this prophetic one to dreadlocks and ganja? Marley was so much deeper than that. Why aren't our children taught in schools the correct way about the important ones...?

Death is the biggest lie, although it appears all around us. Bob surely knew this.

@@marleyite Death is not the end of life but the beginning. Yes, the body dies but your soul is immortal. You have lived 1000's of lives and you will live 1000's more. There is no full stops in life. There are no nouns in life, only verbs. It is my understanding that EVERYONE will be born again and again. There are only two exceptions. Buddha invented a meditation to go back and see your previous lives. If you do this meditation with the proper guidance, you will surely know there is no death.

Don Taylor was Bob's manager for most of his career. Alan Cole was one of his closest friends and only managed the group for a very short period back in the early 70's. Danny Sims was asked by Bob to manage him, close to the very end when Don Taylor had been fired for embezzling funds.

I have so many questions, because it was so many wrong moves he and his camp made! Why go to a yt cancer doctor from Germany? Why days after an assassination attempt would you accept some random shoes from the US? It saddens me that the best of us will run to the enemy for help before our own when the chips are down. They paid that doctor to finish him off! 😢😢😢

First of all acknowledge that he was of mixed parentage...there's your answer as to why he would consent to go to where he went to for help... don't act blind/take the blinders off.. Where he got his shoes from is mere conjecture... people scrambling the eggs...he was an Adult /Well able to make decisions so stop the madness and feeding your hypocrisy

From what I got the German Dr was using a wide range of experimental procedures on Bob that was not working, in fact making Bob situation worse. Bob neglect to go natural in the hopes he would get a speedy recovery. Just my opinion and I agree with your opinion but there is no evidence to prove we are on the right track.

Was definitely a murder. A present containing a needle or nail. Present should have been first checked by his security. Then again, must hv been well hidden, so they'd not have noticed it. Shocking, sad.

Who/where/what/why is the Enemy....I believe a decision was made with his knowledgeable consent to go to the "best” place for the help he needed... some meds/facilities are corrupt but take the blinders off...Bob Marley lived/hard ...truth be told ...the body can only endure but so much pressure/stress...and as you get older there is the inevitable Break down....Stop looking for a scapegoat PLEASE
