The Untold Story of How the Schooling System Failed? @raftartv Podcast with Abbas Husain MD Teachers Development Centre
Join us for an eye-opening discussion on the flaws in our education system, the unjust nature of exams, and the meaninglessness of our curriculum. In this thought-provoking podcast, we explore the purpose of education, the impact of the pandemic on learning, and the disconnect between traditional schooling and the real world.
We delve into the stories of successful individuals like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg, who dropped out of formal education but received first-rate schooling. Discover how the concept of testing has evolved and why it may not serve its intended purpose.
We also examine the challenges of the CSS exam and the educational landscape in Pakistan, where parents are investing billions in coaching and tuition, often with little return on investment.
Explore the importance of nurturing creativity, life skills, and the emotional well-being of children, especially in the wake of the pandemic. Join us as we discuss the need for a paradigm shift in education and the potential for change in an era of connectivity and new tools.
Discover why academic and practical worlds need to bridge the gap, and how we can reimagine education to prepare students for success in the 21st century. We also address the issue of graduate unemployment and the changing dynamics of the workforce.
Is homeschooling a viable solution, or are there more effective ways to reform our education system? Tune in to gain insights, challenge your perspectives, and explore the future of education in this engaging podcast.

Really very intellectual person and your both point to point discussion about Pakistan 🇵🇰 third class education system with knowing that 4 billions rupees budget in Sindh with 40,000 schools teachers and 8 grade child can’t read class 3 text book 📕 my goodness and now I can see how peoples are writing ✍️ very poor Urdu not a talk about English . Where is yellow school 🏫 teachers and student ( except Karachi CCT and BT ) teachers those are really taught student well cause they are well skilled and educated teachers . Why 😢we don’t stop Government poor standards schools and finished the education ministry and these amount we can use by private schools with better school system and teachers . If we have peer maZhar , khurshiD shah type corrupt education ministers than how can education system can improve? PPP killed all Sindh education and ally type of working departments , factories , offices , institutions, universities and every where is ppp working getting salaries as ghost teachers and employees like k electric , railway , PIA , shipping companies, steel mills, courts and police … all destroyed by PPP in Sindh as MQM before . 😊

1) Shumaal = north. Junoob = south. South is generally considered negative, so bachay ko junoob se shumaal le k jana hai ulta nai. 2) Primary education mother tongue mein honi chaye lekin arabic ki jaga roman script mein jese is waqt main likh raha hu. 3) Brain drain nai lekin bran drain zarur hai.

Why roman script?........ This is the prblm, people are still living in colonial times, whatever gora do it looks like godly to you people......
@ibratnak
@ibratnak 5 ай бұрын
@@khabibnurmagomedov8581 Arabic is also a colonial script. The local script in Devanagri. I advocated for roman script because a) it makes it easy to transition into English b) like Ataturk in Turkey, it keeps you away from politicizing and introducing innovations in a religion that has been called complete by the Quran. c) it makes it interoperable with hindi as both Indians and Pakistanis can read urdu in roman script.

I almost completely disagree with the whole premise of this discussion. The guest seems to be a very reasonable man and has arguments that make sense. I agree with what the guest said, there's problem in schooling however there is NO PROBLEM in the concept of formal education. Mathematics is necessary not to cram the tables but to rewire your brain to make new breeds of Leonardo Da Vinci

Can you please tell how many out of the total Pakistani students coming to US (on ANY visa not restricting at Students Visa) gets coverage on Times magazine (as you said)? Whatever you are saying is true but at 46:27 you have gone little too high while comparing, that in 2 years Pakistani students gets on Times Magazine cover. Let's be realistic that in Pakistan the education level is consistently worsening and if the students get a chance abroad they can perform comparatively better. Because you have not touched the challenges the Pakistani kids will face of competing with other hardworking and super smart International students. Otherwise if we don't be realistic like Iqbal's poetry once again such unrealistic lectures will just fail another generation.
