5 years in myself (and 52 - was one of the more senior people in my class…did a refresher of the first class when my son got old enough) - did 40K miles on a Triumph Bonneville T-120 and then just got a 1250 GSA a few months ago. Like you - I load up on safety gear and play it safe (but fun)

Yessir, safety and fun doesn't have to be 2 differing elements in doing what we do at this stage😂

Congrats on your new ride! It's a great bike - I've owned 23 different bikes in my life and the GSA is one of the very best and what I ride today. My advice would be to take as much training as you can, especially if you want to take it off road. It's super capable but at 600 lbs it's a lot of bike. ☺ Ride safe.

Hi Tony! You must have seen my phone in a wide angle. It was my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and only has a screen size of 6.8". It was mounted on a BMW ConnectedRide Cradle which I bought at the dealership when it first came out last year for my F900R and my BMW dealer was more than happy to transfer to my new ride. I understand that Navi preparations or multi-controller equipments came standard for Motorrad models so you can conveniently mount your phones and navigational equipments. Very essential for me as I use it for nav, listening to music on Spotify (as seen on this video), opening my garage via app, etc. Another good thing to that is you never lose juice as it charges my phone, too😁 Here's a link for the equipment: www.bmwmotorcycles.com/en/individualisation/accessories/navigation-and-communication/connectedride-cradle.html

BTW if you have a music playlist for your ride you can share them in the comments 😊. Here’s mine open.spotify.com/playlist/3zx4I9bTjVVg0kYKubn3zI?si=8SxX9vhcTzekucefyRtLMw
