I'm glad they changed the bracelet, the mesh one kept sliding thru the keeper on mine
@whatsonthewrist3 жыл бұрын
Yep, I know what you mean about the mesh bracelet, Marin. 🤙
@richdubbya3 жыл бұрын
I like it. For $400 the limited adjustability of the bracelet IMHO can be forgivable. Especially for the build quality.. 300m w/r, nice dial options, decent movement. 👌 Spinnaker did well.

Rich this is a nice offering but I prefer the blue one u showed. I have spinnakers Croft and it’s been great. Very attractive bracelet this time. 👍

The blue looks great too. Congrats on your Croft, Stephen. 🤙

Great review. I meant to talk about the micro adjust in my video as I noticed that too. Good job there. How is the bezel action on yours?
@whatsonthewrist3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Avg. Joe Watch Reviews. Thanks. The bezel action is on the tight side. Hopefully it will loosen a bit after some use. How is it for you?

thanks for the review, Rich. it is a hefty, strong looking Spinnaker. Probably, I can not pull of 44mm, but I love the dial design, color and the hexagon case. Also, the bracelet goes really well with the entire case and dial design. It is a bit of shame that the last clasp hole can not be used and hopefully Spinnaker can fix this minor issue as soon as possible, or supply some half links? or Both? Both would be great. Concise yet thorough review, Rich. Thanks a lot and have a great weekend. PS : Keep it coming more often. I can see that your audience has been dropping off considerably and hope that it will pick up very soon. thanks

big chunky tank, what's the weight? 200 g? love the hands, too bad about the hour markers, the rolex round markers (- seen to many have too many) i think thinner rectangles would work

It’s not for you it sounds like, Soneeeee.

The creme version looks interesting. I can’t decide between your bordeaux and creme dial. The bracelet spacing doesn’t bother me and since my wrists are on the larger side the micro adjustable isn’t an issue for me. I like the look of the new bracelet vs the previous mesh. Good attention to details though Rich. I’ll decide over the weekend between the creme and Bordeaux.

Yes indeed the Sahara (creme) looks sharp. You’re at the fun part...deciding which one. 🤙

@Tom Lee. I'm learning towards the creme dial to.

Goodmorning Rich - Interesting style as micro diver's go and they got the price point right. What I noticed at the start is a design flaw which is a big pet peeve of mine...another flat frying pan like case (no contour) at the base which will slide on the wrist and gap. 6 AM and 2nd cup of Dunkin's, Best, JP
@whatsonthewrist3 жыл бұрын
Nice observation, JP. That hasn’t been an issue for me as much as not able to use the last micro adjustment hole. But the weather is still warm so the watch hasn’t been sliding around. Go Dunkin’. ☕️ 🍩

Big watch, but looks really nice. I like watches with 24 hour marks. The case shape is interesting. too -- Good review. Cheers.

Apart from the size that is too big for my liking, this is perhaps the diver style watch from those you reviewed that I`d not consider buying. The clasp is a no-go and the way the bracelet is gaping at the case puts me off. And with that movement - why not get a Seiko diver and modd it? Thanks for the review!

A nice perspective, Holger. You might like the Luminox video I just published. Hopefully I’ll see ya there. 🍻

This is a solid package for $400 I can't really complain but it's a good thing my wrist size is a little bigger then yours Rich. But my choice might be tangerine and I don't know why nobody else is appreciating tangerine. Oh well. Great video sir.
@whatsonthewrist3 жыл бұрын
The tangerine seems to be the underdog of the options. Hopefully it will get more love, brother. 🍻
@Delveinformation12 жыл бұрын
I have every color, and the Tangerine actually disappointed me. I am an “orange” nut, and I didn’t expect so much red in it. A little overwhelming imho.
@derekshearer90493 жыл бұрын
Very nice. Why do you say colorway instead of colors?
@whatsonthewrist3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Derek. It’s another term to describe different dial colors. 🤙
@derekshearer90493 жыл бұрын
Oh, I know the term. why is it used? Color works better. I was asking why you use it.
@whatsonthewrist3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I I just like to change it up to alternative descriptions/sayings. 🤷♂️

My micro adjustment hole 3 is fine. You may have to manhandle.

Glad it worked out for you, Jonas. Manhandling shouldn’t happen but as long it works for you. 🤙
