I watched how you battled to take that "ring" off to divide the two halves of the casing and I thought to myself either I am going to damage that ring, squash it or scratch it and the customer would really be unhappy with the cosmetic damage so I sat back and though that there must be another way of getting that off - firstly I had to push the locking clip open through the hole on the side exactly like you did, once I'd unhooked that locking clip I found that if I used a pointed thin metal rod on the INSIDE of the ring I could push it into the plastic slightly on the INSIDE of the ring and if I pushed it in a counter clockwise direction then it was easy to get the ring off without any unsightly outside cosmetic damage and just a few scratches on the inside of the ring where it wasn't visible to anyone - took me all of a minute without breaking a sweat to get the ring off.

@@alfredwolpe3682 sometimes it takes more than minute, like in this case but usually by pushing it inside with thin screwdriver and pulling another screwdriver between ring and vacuum cleaner to pry it little bit helps unlock that clip. In video it seems like battle, but it was carefully battle to not damage it with pliers in the end 😎

Merci pour votre explication ,j'ai en effet tiré a fond le cordon,mais pas concluant puis réessayer a plusieurs reprises et ,hop,,et bien il s'est de nouveau enroulé ,et il semble que tout s'est remis en place ..merci

Bonjour, oui le démontage c'est quasiment pareil, s'il coince alors il faut le dérouler et le rembobiner. Si le mécanisme est faible/mauvais, le remplacement de l'ensemble de l'enrouleur de cordon est la seule option Eng: Hello, yes, disassembly is almost the same, if cable is stuck then you have to unwind it and rewind it. If mechanism is weak/bad then only option is the replacement of entire cord winder 🤔

Hello, I am not sure that you have correct model, do you have Product number? Motor for PC1670 is no longer available, you have to pry out on/off and winder buttons and there are screws, then you should be able to open motor holder.

Hi, you can replace it with new 4pin switch (soldering is needed). Or just replace spare part, look for Part Number: 1181968031 (switch board)

Thank-you fornquick response. I opened and saw button itself is fine but the plastic push part that presses push button is broken. Tried to glue it but it wont hold

Unfortunately in my case the 4pin push button itself is fine but the plastic mechanical push buttons part that presses actual push button is broken n. Dnt see what could be possible solution

Then you need to replace it, spare part (plastic button on/off) is 8090099022 (if you have same model: UFFLEXA or similar)

I have the same model, I knocked the back after a filter clean to loosed any dust and all of a sudden the suction is now at like 5% .. no idea what I messed up..

Did you try it without dust container? Those 2 hoses (silver/gray - right next to container) have to be on right places, not vice versa (check their seals).

Hi, try to put flat screwdriver between vacuum body and that silver ring (from top left - if you are looking from front on that ring, it is on 10 o’clock), pry that silver plastic with left hand, with long pliers hold silver ring on 7 o’clock and push it down (you have to stand over top of the vacuum cleaner, so you can use your weight and vacuum cleaner will stay on place, you dont need 3rd hand and you can push it harder) - by this way you will probably scratch this silver ring with pliers but it will be on bottom of that ring, so it doesnt matter, i think 🫣

That 4pin switch cost few cents, or few euros if you buy whole switch unit 🥲
