Audio was fantastic, everything looks better too. Deeply excited at the prospect of unintentional Dan cameos

Great stream Robert , really enjoyed it as usual. Look forward to seeing what region we cover next on these streams ; though i suspect at some point soon HotD coverage will take over the streams and vids for a bit with S2 fast approaching. Btw your audio and video was pretty much better than ever imo ; super smooth the whole time on my end. Well done as always , IDG.

51:20 A ship in harbour is safe, but that isn't why we build ships. The Eyrie is the epitome of the Vale's isolation rendering its own power pointless.

You know, I only thought about the material value of a deceased maester's chain when I asked, but the social value might be the more interesting component. Aquiring a dead maester's chain would allow anyone to impersonate a maester. When Lady Dustin speculated about maesters lying about the contents of letters, that may not be true on a large scale but an imposter maester could certainly have done that at some point in history

1:11:10: Dragons are clearly an existential threat, but we don't see that in the Game of Thrones series up to this point because the series has become much longer than GRRM originally planned. This was going to be a trilogy so the dragons would have played a much larger roll over 3 books than they have so far. The dragons have been young and only recently large enough to really threaten anyone. But by the end GRRM will make it abundantly clear why they are a threat. The fans will probably go nuts like they did with Dany's end in the TV show, but no matter how much we love dragons they are too powerful.

Was Peter bealish an only child?
@psychkosys8 ай бұрын
There's no mention of any of his family by name except his mother Alayne. His "father" befriended Hoster Tully, but nobody knows what he was called or how he died or if Alayne is still alive or not. Littlefinger suggested his mother's name, Alayne, as an alias for Sansa. In the books she plays the part of his bastard daughter, Alayne Stone. In the TV show, she was his "niece." Nobody has ever mentioned he had brothers or sisters..but I have to believe at least on the TV show, he was not an only child. Baelish is too clever to tell anyone Sansa is his niece, when people would know if he has no brothers or sisters. In the books, it is up in the air...but consider he inherited his father's tower and lands in the fingers, making it at least unlikely he had an older brother. The answer looks like "not an only child" in the TV show...but in the books we just don't have enough information if he has a sister or a younger brother.
