Daniel V - That was his first season here. He was handed a relatively talented team with a historically good defense and still couldn’t get it done. There is no doubt the officials were terrible in that game, but good teams and good coaches overcome those things. While you can name ONE example in three years of coaching where he “should” have won a playoff game but didn’t, I can think of 5 or 6 specific instances where he has cost us wins with his awful game management skills

It’s the style of Offense Harbaugh has used. Nothing much has changed. From Univ. San Diego to Michigan. Harbaugh claim to fame was Andrew Luck. Luck at Stanford, not only could he throw, but could run if he had to. Luck is very smart. Look at the QB’s Myers has had throughout his coaching carrier. They were all mobile. In college football better to run a zone read offense. The defenses in college are not very good. Colleges that run the RPO’s have the advantage because it becomes a 11 vs 11 rather then a 10 vs 11. Superior athletes will at the skilled positions will, most of the time, win the one on ones. Look at the teams in the CFP. 3/4 have mobile QB’s. 2017 championship game? Mobile QB’s.

How did Caldwell not challenge that late game first down spot by Minnesota? I swear the guys knee hit several inches short. It would have been fourth down and getting the ball back probably. Caldwell does more things right than Valenti will admit, and right or wrong he wins more than he loses, but that was a big red mark for him. Might have changed the game.
