Michigan’s back 7 is a problem. Ross and Hawkins played terrible, and for senior players, there is no excuse to be slow and undisciplined in these big rivalry games. Kudos to State. They earned it. Additionally it didn't work against the buckeyes because 1 tight ends weren't featured 2 they ran the ball but they didn't do slam ball; the running scheme was very diverse. Haskins wasn't getting dropped behind the line like he did in slam ball. Ospoo was prepared for power slam ball but stretch plays like the 3 TDs he scored on and the other 2 goal line plays. So in truth that's what worked and they could have scored more with more passing but it was balanced enough. Notice when the scheme features tight ends the games are close. Go back and look. Harbaugh barely comments on the passing game unless the right ends were involved. So you're on this one buddy objectively speaking. If He uses an open offense scheme like he did against Ospoo then we'd even blow out Alabama and Georgia and Notre Dame. Nevertheless go Blue!

I’m a Michigan fan and this game right here should make Michigan state a national Powerhouse. They own the state of Michigan they own Michigan they are Michigan from the 90s and early 2000s where they beat their rivals. Michigan is and hasn’t been anything in football. Just love how you guys subscribe to the 97.1 afternoon hate club. While its no denying that Michigan must get the gorilla off their back against their traditional main rival in OSU. I just love how MSU fans aways attached themselves onto OSU status..you guys piled up a bunch of wins against Michigan when Michigan was clearly down @ the lowest point in history when everyone was beating Michigan. Harbaugh while not stellar has turn that around immediately. 3-4 record isn't dominate & was very competitive in all the games. Whats dominate are the games he won vs State compared to games State barely & miraculously won against him. Not a fan of his just facts. 1 more fact..what was Michigan before Harbaugh..a joke immediately turn them around..should had beaten State in year 1 yall last good season before now but punt gate happened..dominated State year 2 & was ranked #2 in November loss to OSU in o.t. State just rewarded a coach that did almost the same thing by year 2 without Harbaugh pedigree which was undeniable to that point. Good luck with all that

The refs did cost us the game like in the 2016 Ohio st game. The refs cost us 7 points, there at least 4 clear pass interference in the game 2 in the final drive of the game. It is hard to beat the refs and a good football team. Those refs should be all fired or demoted like Jim Harbaugh should be fired

Every fanbase has that super vocal but arrogant and stupid subgroup sometimes. If it makes you feel any better, coming from a State alum, McNamara played possibly the game of his life. He was forced to throw and responded well. I would argue Thorne got outplayed but made the much needed big throws. But I get what you’re saying. UM fans are bitching about REVIEWED AND CONFIRMED plays instead of seeing the 2nd half gameplan failed, and the defense was caught subbing late 7 TIMES. It’s frustrating to see people blame everyone but themselves

No did Michigan play a perfect game, did Michigan defense made substitute errors, did Michigan kick to many field goals. Yes to both but Michigan still played good enough to win the game if the refs were any good at their job. I think refs have been really bad all over the country like the Pitt game last week. Refs need to be held to a higher standard and held accountable for their mistakes. I want the players to decide the outcome of the game not the refs.

Corum dropped at ball that would've led to a BIG gain. Then there was the mangled punt. Then there was the fumble. Then there was the poor play calls that led to stalled drives and FGs while MSU scored TDs. Michigan simply got beat, and had NO answer for Walker. Job well done, Sparty. 👍🏾
