I totally agreed with the point “modern human is in a constant vortex of movement rushing,”. The current millennials are having monumental crushing pressure, their life is in a very fast pace compared to the old age. When everyone is in a rush to achieve their goals, it makes us feel guilty to slow down and take a break. However, as what Brandon Stanton said, “the most valuable resources you have is what you have do with your time”, when we constantly worried about running out of time, we are actually losing our present. Most of the people perceive leisure as unproductive, laziness or an excuse for procrastination, yet leisure is actually the key to success. Goals are better achieved after leisure, when one’s own mind has unlimited imagination and absolute attentiveness to life. We live in a high-speed culture where people are rushing for achievement, even if they achieved, they are still not slowing down enough to enjoy, they tend to target new goals. The value of leisure in everyday life by Will Cagle indeed expanded my perspective to leisure. However, I found it difficult to find leisure in everything, especially in work. I believe getting out of comfort zone is a way to grow and develop, but how do we maintain leisure at the same time stressed to growth?

You don't really need to "find" leisure. The whole point of leisure is that you do "nothing" and just "feel" leisure, you're just there, and from there you can think, imagine, plan, create, etc, all with your mind. It doesn't also need to be related to reality, you could "feel" leisure and create a story, have an ideia of drawing, or even think about a philosophical theory or question to be answered, or a science question, for example. You can do this when you have "nothing" to do, when you can just be there, on your own, being yourself and just feeling that time, even if a short time, when you just don't do anything at all. It doesn't need to be in every aspect of your life, in every activity, not even everyday, but it's important that you have a time for yourself and your mind only.

Modern society and in particular American culture really looks down on leisure for some reason, but a little bit now and again is beneficial
